I just love how we have kick started 2021 with this moodboard - it is so rich & vibrant.
I have started my 12x12 layout off using Heidi Swapp's Honey & Spice printed paper - La Fleur and to that I have used stencil with Liquitex Modelling Paste - The Crafters Workshop Mini Orange Slices. After drying I have added colour using Ranger Distress Ink - Candied Apple and Barn Door. I have also added a little Distress Oxide - Spiced Marmalade.
After finding photo placement I stitched a black border around the whole project and a frame for the photo. The photo was layered with various ephemera from the Maggie Holmes Range.
I have added some stamping in black ink using the Art by Marlene stamps - Mandala Tapestry. After photo placement I added a few paper blooms and a Heidi Swapp vellum word - then framed it with a metal embellishment. I cut a quote using my Silhouette and have used Glossy Accents to give the title shine and depth.
I have pulled out my Prisma pencils and a few watercolors to help add a little more definition to the stamped Mandala's and also to the stenciled liquitex circles as they got a little lost with all the colour.
