Hi everyone, Em with you today, sharing my fave 4 from 2023. I have created so many projects for Scrapping Clearly this year, so it was hard to choose just 4. So I went with choosing 4 Mixed Media layouts, as this is my favourite way to create.
It's always fun to look back through the year and see the projects created and the feelings they evoke.
As we come to the end of 2023, it's nice to reflect and see how far we have come. Why not take some time and look back on your art and see how the year has ventured for you.
Hello lovely SC friends! Today i have another video for you of 8x8 layout. This project also uses the December Affirmation board colours.
You can see this page come to life here....
The mood affirmation board is stunning and features paper from the new Lucky Findings Foundations pack, which I don't actually own....yet! But I absolutely love the colours, and so this page was created.
This page consists of lots of products you can find in Kylie's shop such as the awesome 49&Market papers, film strips, rub-ons and more.
I used lots of different elements to create layers including these stunning flowers that match the mood colours.
The mediums that create the colours on the frame and background are mostly Liquitex inks.
I just love the mood boards, they give so much option in creating something you may not always play with. And I do hope you enjoy my littlevideo.
Maybe you have heard from some of the team about the Lucky Findings Foundation Kits available at Scrappingclearly? Have you wondered what they are and how they can be used?
I am going to share more today.
In 2021 Scrappingclearly founder and creative soul Kylie, broke her right arm and couldn't create as she usually does. Instead, she took up digital designing. She drew and coloured and combined images and designs to create a unique and one-of-a-kind product. And she went extra - she took her brilliant designs and printed them on different papers (or substrates). Lucky Findings foundations kits were born. These kits give us SO many options for our paper crafting!
Each kit comes with 8 different papers - different designs on different papers.
There are base papers, rice papers, washi paper, vellum, transparency, and reinforcement circle stickers.
* You can get Junque Journals - die cut cover, collection of papers, wax binding and instructions - all ready to craft your very own and unique journals.
* And in 2023, Kylie and Tracey took you on a creative journey with the Alchemist Journal which used Lucky Findings products with step by step instructions to create amazing journals.
What can you create with Lucky Findings?
Of course, there are so many ways you can use Lucky Findings products in your paper crafting. I have been lucky enough to be playing with the kits for a while now. Today I will share some of the projects. For more inspiration, head to our Facebook group.
One of the things I love about travelling is trying new food and drink. The waiter described this as Turnip juice, the menu said it was blackberry juice and the bottle said fermented carrot juice. Not a lot to recommend it frankly!
I layered up the photo with some Lucking Findings Foundation paper (Butterfly Effect), Cocoa Vanilla Love Always stickers, My Minds Eye and Heidi Swapp Stickers stickers and some 49 & Market ARToptions Avesta chipboard.
Hello Hello! Em with you all today. Hope your week has been kind to you so far. I'm sharing an Art Journal page in my altered book. It features a little from this months board but then it strays a little and takes on other colours. Plus I had fun creating another VIDEO for you all to watch. Watch the VIDEO here.....
My Page consists of lots of pieces I have collected from Kylies magical shop. My base is a piece of Rice paper from the 'Golden Age' Foundations pack and a Stamperia 'Owl Alchemy' Rice paper. I just love mix and matching things.
In amongst the tag layers and behind this gorgeous image (a download from LemoncreationArt) are circles punched out from some left over tags. This is a great way to create your own embellishments.
The colours are mostly Distress crayons with some liquid acrylics to darken areas. Lots of random stamping complimented all the layers.
I really enjoyed putting this page together, and I do hope you enjoy watching it come together in my short Video.
Have a great Thursday and I will catch you again soon. Em xx
