December Daily

Good morning, I have the perfect opportunity here today to share my plans for December! Yes it's that time of year!! What do you love about Christmas?
Since I have heard of the idea of December daily that was created by Ali Edwards, I have wanted to create an album too but never have so this is the year. I am excited to document my family traditions, to add our stories and photos.
I am using the Heidi Swapp wooden album and the Candy Cane Lane collection by Teresa Collins for the papers and embellishments.
All the chipboard are from Your Creative Wings and I just love the elegant detailed pieces here. So pretty and versatile.

I have everything ready to start and this is my cover and first front page. You may remember I shared this cover before a while ago so it makes it super easy for me to begin to fill it now.

Candy cane lane ephemera and sequins.

Close up of the first title page.

The second half of my prep for December is this Heidi Swapp Countdown to Christmas Calendar, which will include a photo a day I will share on instagram.

I really want to use what I have already to complete these projects, so the frame for this is an Ikea photo frame I painted gold.

For this I will be using the Believe Collection by Heidi Swapp.

Do you plan on doing Christmas projects this year? Please share what you will be working on and if you are doing December daily I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day.

Love You

Good morning Rikki here today, with my last post of the month using the stunning Pink Paislee Cedar Lane Range.

Have you noticed a little theme that tied my layouts together this month? If you said stitching then you would be correct. I love the Autumn theme with the leaves and the feathers in this range and I wanted to add a little bit of whimsy to the layouts this month and whats easier than a bit of machine stitching.

Dont you love the gold foil with the gold glitter? Stunning!!! And the Dream Big is the new Cedar Lane Gold Foil Washi Tape Book.

Another Washi sticker I love how easy they are to use and how elegant they look with the pop of foil.....

Try using the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane Feather paper clip as a leaf instead of a feather.

Dont forget you still have some time to enter this months Sketch and Mood board challenge to go into the draw to win a $20 store voucher.

Well till next time ( hint: the design team are embracing Christmas) have a creative day.

November Moodboard

Morning, how are you? I'm here today sharing my take on the November Mood board and it's not how I usually create with mood boards.

I haven't used the colours in this but used elements. Such as the large love word, the field photo and the metal from the birdcages.

We would love to see what you create and it's for a $20 store voucher!!
So come on and join us, we can't wait to see.

I have been saving this field paper from Webster's Pages from the Nest collection, waiting for the perfect photo.

Do you do that? I have used the Heidi Swapp gold spot washi tape with a gold script and gold glitter washi. Stamping with Ali Edwards collection. Sprinkles of Heidi Swapp Gold Colour shine as well.

Close ups of the embellishments I added from different sources. This pinwheel I found at the reject shop!

There is also hidden journaling on that tag that is inside a kraft small paper bag I brought from Etsy years ago.

The metal hearts and arrow is from My Mind's Eye, the wooden arrow from Typo and the XOXO sticker is from Teresa Collins.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

I love the cute frames the add just the right amount of gold!

Other products used:
 6 x 6 Pink Paislee's Memorandum
Maggie Holmes Crate Paper - Open Book Ephemera
Prima flowers
Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Open Book Doilies

PROJECT MY LIFE

Hey hey hey!

How is your week going? Been scrapping? Feeling creative? I am trying something new this week, and trying to simplify my layouts a little. I always seem to miss out on collecting all the embellishments, so this week it was time to create a layout where my photos were the feature.

The goodies I used in this weeks layout are from the awesome Scrapping Clearly store from the Atlas range by Pink Paislee. This range sold like hotcakes, but there is lots of Pink Paislee yumminess in the store here :) http://www.scrappingclearly.com.au/?s=pink+paislee&post_type=product&tags=1&limit=20&ixwps=1 I teamed these goodies with the super lovely Epoxy Buzzwords by Heidi Swapp, which you can find here http://www.scrappingclearly.com.au/?s=epoxy&post_type=product&tags=1&limit=20&ixwps=1

Exciting things are coming to Scrapping Clearly, so keep your eye on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/, and follow us on Instagram (just search scrappingclearly).

Til next time....

Fuseables

Good morning Rikki here today with what should be my layout based on this months mood board, however I was very lucky to receive from the boss some new We R Memory Keepers Fuse - able goodies to play with.

We R Memory Keepers – FUSEables Collection – Card Kit – Collections

A few thing I do love about this kit it allowed me to create 10 cards in an hour, including the fancy shaker ones. All that you need is in the kit so no hunting around looking for sequins, bags, glue, and envelopes.
Also I want to add a disclaimer in here at this point; this honestly is my 2 time using my Fuse and I must say I struggled with getting the wheel turning, till the very last card- angle your Fuse on a 45 degree angle ( of course me being slow would only figure that out then!!!)

A few other things is I am now the proud new owner of the We R Memory Keepers glass mat...... which I love love love , beyond words!!! I love the grid, I love the non slip feet for it!!! Its sturdy!!! and it does help the Fuse wheel.

So all in all I think after some practice I will have these cards and all the Fuseable !!!!!

Till next time have a creative day

Here and Now

Hello everyone, here in the West we were hit with soaring tempertures warning us of what is install for us this Summer!! Hot Hot Hot!! My Summer always includes many trips to the beach and we love it here where we live. I just can't get over how beautiful our sunsets are here. What is your favourite summer pastime?

This is my sunset beach layout using A Touch of Gold by Kaisercraft. I stayed with the black, white and gold colours and used the circle sticker sheet from the pack to embellish and add interest to the background.

The background with mixed media was first, a layer of gesso then a swipe of Heidi Swapp gold screen ink over the top. I love the consistency of this ink and how smooth it is to use. Up close it has a beautiful pearly sheen to it.

Added rhinestones and Heidi Swapp Gold Color shine sprinkled all over.

Kaisercraft roses that I coloured and metal charm flower branch clustered together.

Kaisercraft A Touch of Gold paper pack includes the circle sticker sheet.
Heidi Swapp Gold art screen ink found here in the Scrapping Clearly store.

Have a lovely day and we would love to see what you create from all your purchases from the Scrapping Clearly store.
