Turnip Juice by Tracey B

 Morning everyone

One of the things I love about travelling is trying new food and drink.   The waiter described this as Turnip juice, the menu said it was blackberry juice and the bottle said fermented carrot juice.   Not a lot to recommend it frankly!

I started the page with some Distress oxide (Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry) through a Finnabair Oriental Wall stencil and ten gave the stencil a spritz of water and smooshed that onto the page.

I layered up the photo with some Lucking Findings Foundation paper (Butterfly Effect), Cocoa Vanilla Love Always stickers, My Minds Eye and Heidi Swapp Stickers stickers and some 49 & Market ARToptions Avesta chipboard.

Art is about paying attention!

 Hi everyone, Georgia here with another layout for this months moodboard using the Alferious LuckyFindings collection!

Hello Hello!
Em with you all today. Hope your week has been kind to you so far.
 I'm sharing an Art Journal page in my altered book. It features a little from this months board but then it strays a little and takes on other colours.
Plus I had fun creating another VIDEO for you all to watch.

My Page consists of lots of pieces I have collected from Kylies magical shop. My base is a piece of Rice paper from the 'Golden Age' Foundations pack and a Stamperia 'Owl Alchemy' Rice paper.
I just love mix and matching things.

I used some Tim Holtz Idea-ology Salvaged Tags and some 'Assemblage' tags from the Foundations range.
Tags bring me joy.

In amongst the tag layers and behind this gorgeous image (a download from LemoncreationArt) are circles punched out from some left over tags. This is a great way to create your own embellishments.

The colours are mostly Distress crayons with some liquid acrylics to darken areas.
Lots of random stamping complimented all the layers.

I really enjoyed putting this page together, and I do hope you enjoy watching it come together in my short Video.

My trip to Scrapping Clearly in Gundagai, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi everyone!

I have been on Kylie Tout's Design team for Scrappingclearly for a few years, but on the weekend, I visited her Gundagai shop in person for the first time!

I travelled to Gundagai for Kylie's annual Art retreat - more on that later. {Note: sorry, but it is already sold out for 2024!}

Kylie has an incredible shop - paper crafters, scrapbookers and mixed media artists can all find something here! What an incredible range! And lucky for us, even if we never make it to Gundagai, we can buy from her online store.

And as a bonus, she also sells an incredible range of giftware - jewelry, bags, hats, t-shirts, you name it!

I may have also been lucky enough to visit on a day where I got to cuddle one of Kylie's puppies!

Probably one of the best parts of the weekend, was being together with {almost} all of the Creative team, plus guest designers. What a creative bunch. Truly inspirational. So lucky to be on this team.

It's the little things by Tracey B

 Hi everyone

After a HUGE weekend crafting at the Lucky Findings Mixed Media Retreat 2023, I am exhausted and inspired in the best possible way.

Thankfully here's a page I prepared earlier.

This is a page using lots of old (but still good) stuff.

I started with some very very old rub-ons and Ok while not perfect they were good enough for a grungy look.

I sprinkled on some Lyndy's Stamp Gang Magical shakers (Yodelling yellow, Stormy Silver and Luminous Lemon)

I I had some old random alphas that had lost their stick, so I coloured them a bit using Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks and Neo II color crayons and then some Cadence Diamond paste through a dot stencil and then randomly glued them on.

Added an old photo of Paddy with an old Idea-ology sticker as my title, some twine and enamel dots to finish off.
