Hi everyone,
Welcome to another Wednesday. I hope that you are all doing okay during these crazy different times. We are taking it day by day and hoping there is crafting days ahead.
Today's page is one with texture and bright colours. I used the turquoise and yellow tones from this month's mood board.
Here are some of the steps I took to create the background.
I mixed some Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint in Marine with some light modelling paste. This gives the paint a bit more texture... easier to scrape through the stencil.
I put the paint mixture through a bubble circle stencil.
For more colour, I used some Colour Blast Shimmer Dust in Sunflower. I sprinkled a very small amount of powder on and activated it with water. Note: a little powder goes a long way!
The last step to my background was to add some 13Arts Splash Ayeeda Green Acrylic Glitter Ink. I painted some colour and droppered and splattered the colour to the background. I love that this colour and glitter sits on top of all the other layers adding texture and shine.
And here is my page!
I love the colours and how they came together for this page. To finish the page, I added a few stickers and hearts and enamel dots from my stash.
Thanks so much for looking! Stay safe and get your scrap on!
Amanda
