Fun times, Something Wonderful page by Tania!

Hi all!!! I'm back here with you today to share a quick and fun page, using the Teresa Collins, Something Wonderful Collection. It's amazing how different all these Design Team projects are, even though, this month, we are all using the same collection! Anyway, I love it, love all the little embellishments, chipboard stickers, washi, OMG..the washi!!! (Pssst...it's on special, as are a few of the other items in this range!!!) 

Now, I have to mention, I'm also interpreting this month's sketch with my layout! Here's the sketch here:

I die cut 2 beautiful circles from the 'ALPHA' patterned paper, and then almost covered them with the rest of my layering!!! But, it's all about the layers right???

 I layered some more patterned paper behind the photos, and matted my photos with cardstock, white, which is nearly always a given for me! There's another layer at the bottom of the photos, using a couple of the washi tapes. ( This helps anchor the photos and gives your eyes somewhere to rest, so they don't veer off the bottom of the page.) I did the same for the top embellishment cluster, layers and washi!! (Love the little banners from the ephemera set! And.. the gorgeous chipboard buttons!)

With all the gorgeous embellishments in this range, it was so easy to make my little clusters and the page came together fairly effortlessly!! Gotta love that!

What about that gorgeous, viewfinder reel embellishment!!! 

I didn't really add much more to my page, that wasn't in the kit. Only a few little enamel dots, some AC Thickers, staples and thread!! (My title also includes some cute alphas from the word sticker pack.)

More Something Wonderful!

Hello Arty Peeps!

Hope y'all are well and happy, maybe making plans for St Paddy's Day next week?

Peg here to share another page using the Teresa Collins 'Something Wonderful' range. This one is just slapped together quickly using bits of prettiness torn from the 6 x 6 paper pad. I stuck my photo down (and framed it) with washi tape, reinforcing it all with a couple of staples on the corners.

I added some Heidi Shine black and teal splats to the background, layered up my mini pic on tags (oodles in this pack!), and typed my journalling with a teal ribbon, cool!!

So with just a few stickers, a chippie, and a bit of transparency ('Story Time'), my page was done. Too easy! 

Gotta love quick pages, right?!

Snapshots Documented - Scrapbooking With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!! 

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the Teresa Collins "Something Wonderful" collection (papers, enamel dots, ephemera tags, chipboard buttons, chipboard elements) available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store. This month all of the Scrapping Clearly DT received the same collection to work with - I'm loving seeing how each of us use the products in different ways!

I've started with a sheet of 12x12 white cardstock which I splattered with watercolour pan paints (blue, black, red and yellow colours). I then let this dry for an hour or so. Next I cut this sheet into the individual elements and attached 2 of the long strips onto my page.

I clustered a selection of the chipboard elements underneath and around my photo along with one of the ephemera tags - isn't the photo reel so cool!. 

I attached a chipboard flag to the top of my page and embellished it with a coordinating button and enamel dots also from the collection. 

Some handwritten journalling and wood veneer were perfect to complete my page!

Warming up with some arty flow

Ahhhhhhhh, Hellllllloooooooo Blog hoppers, SC devotees and random internet users,
Lisa here , pumped and ready for arty mojo to flow through me...

Damn it when you have these ideas , but little motivation ...

Thank the arty gods for, days off, and warm up pieces where its not about the end product, 

more about the process and releasing the flow . 

I wonder how you warm up, your creative spark ?

For me ,I get some paint down on the page,or the easel.

My choice of paint is Dina Wakley Media _for its heavy body

, Liquitex _ for the Gesso and the structure of the paint

and Dylusions- Vibrancy like no other .

On Large A2 watercolour paper-*note to self , use your Dylusions journal instead

Dina Wakley Paint Brushes. Love them

with a trusty Black Stabilo Pencil, an essential .

I had to shake things up at this point

 and in comes a cool skull stencil from Kinder Kreations

and more black paint 

time for scratching and a few words to let go and just play

At this point I stopped working around the head and put him aside,

shitty cheap Mont Mart watercolour paper

 can't handle my rough wet work,scratching and paint layering..Ahhhhh.

So , on to other things.

 I actually scrapped a layout after I created this warm up.

I'll be sharing that asap. :)

'Carnival Ride'... by Skai Mitchell

Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, and I'm having a few personal drama's at the moment. Im a honest scrapper, and document the good, the bad and the ugly... well this ones for the ugly.. 

'Life right now feels like a carnival ride, and I'm ready to get off'

I've used the 'Something Wonderful' range by Teresa Collins to create this moody layout. 

I've begun with a thick layer of Dina Wakley Black gesso on the back side of the Geometric  paper, and built up my layers with pieces from the Ephempera Pack, sewing around each of the edges to give it some texture. 

The title is from the Word stickers, some Thickers from my stash and a Dymo label maker. And there is even some small Enamel dot clusters to tie it all together.

Hello everyone!  Are you ready for a new fabulous sketch designed by our lovely Peg??

I've changed it up slightly ....
Here is my page:

I have loved using the stunning range of Something Wonderful by Teresa Collins .

The colours in this range match many different themes ... I love a good versatile range.

I LOVED playing with an Heidi Swapp art screen!  I had gold art screen ink and this worked perfectly for the random chevron pattern you can see a bit of underneath my photo.  The art screen is so thin, it's perfect for working the ink exactly where you want it to go.  I didn't even have a scraper tool, I just used a piece of plastic and "wiped" it over the screen!  Easy and effective!  I'll be using this again (and again) for sure :)
