Dear Scrappy Clearly fans!
Wednesday share day!
I have had this bottle of crackle medium for ages and it was great to give it a crack (pun intended) to create this background for today's page.
HOW I MADE THE BACKGROUND
I made 3 layers to create this:
1. Paint coat of coloured paint. I used Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint with a brayer. I used Magenta and Sky - which mixed to a perfect shade of purple. Allow to dry.
2. Next, I used a paint brush to paint on the clear crackle medium. Allow to dry. Similar product in store.
3. Lastly, I painted a coat of white gesso.
As it dried, this beautiful and brilliant crackle effect showed.

Other Scrapping clearly products used to make this page:
- I stamped the tag, and the edges with Staz on black ink, using Tim Holtz Faded Type.
- For splatters, I added splatters using Black soot Distress Oxide Ink and Liquitex Carbon Black ink.
- The black stickers are from my Tim Holtz sticker pack.
I finished the page with doilies, die cuts, flairs, acrylic chevrons, muslin, twine, Charms Creations....
Thanks for looking!
Amanda
