nothing too serious...

Welcome to February - the shortest month of the calendar year... We have an amazing moodboard for you this month - I am totally in love with it -- so many pink tones - absolutely devine. I had a play in my Travellers notebook  - everyone has a different take on what they use them for - and all the different little books are used for different things in mine. This is the little book I create everyday stuff in - my little pics I print off my phone. I hope you enjoy my layout. Oh and if you have not got yourself one of these little journals I suggest you invest - they are super versatile for many many things.

I had some leftover ink sprays that I pressed onto a few pages in the past couple of weeks - I was lucky they were the colours of the moodboard. They had a lovely shimmer so I am thinking I used Heidi Swapp sprays - two weeks is so long ago in my crafting life 😅

I then stamped Dina Wakley funky faces - the background was stamped in a Ranger distress ink tattered rose, soft pink versa mark and the scribble in archival black ink.

I then used some Liquitex light modelling paste through a TCW stencil - floral eclipse. I have also used my stabilo ALLS pencil to draw a black border -- I then used a little water to disperse and darken and blend the lines.

...next came all the layering and lettering. I love that I still have some old Heidi Swapp plastic lettering - I loved this stuff - and if you have old stuff I implore you to use it up - don't sell it or give it away - use it -- incorporate it with all the new product that you buy - it all works beautifully.

I have layered my 'silly' pic with some Heidi Swapp ephemera, Kaisercraft ephemera and some black cotton.

I hope you have an awesome weekend - enjoy playing along with this months moodboard - it is another ripsnorter.
