Challenge 3 cyper crop 2020

Morning Everyone,

My newest item was a clear acrylic album I recieved in my DT stash from Kylie a couple of weeks ago.

I thought I would show some techniques to use on clear surfaces.

There are 4 pages in this mini album and I started from the back. The first technique I used was stamping with staz on ink.
I only inked the stamp once and I only stamped on the back.
When planning your pages remember whatever is on one side you see on the other.
So I matched same size photo's and where I needed to use glue or tape I planned to hide it under an element that was going to be covered by the reverse side.

By only inking once you can get different shades of the colour as it runs out.

I have also used acetate Hambly print.

I have rubbed the staz on ink around the outside edge of the page to define it.

The 3rd page was purely paper. I took a double sided sheet cut it
5 1/2 x 5 1/2  put the tape only down the middle where the photo's would cover it. I then reversed the pattern to use under the photo's on each side and kept the accents inside the square.

With the second page I used a sheet of hambly acetate and some cocoa vanilla accents. The actetate is taped down only under where the photo's sit.

The front page I left for the most fun technique alcohol inks.
You will need at least 3 colours and your blending solution.
I just kept adding drops and moving it around with the blending solution until I was happy with it.

I finished it off by putting co ordinating ribbons and braids tied around the metal rings.

Thanks for looking
Happy Crafting.

  9. I never realised these albums were clear. ie: that the brown paper peels off! I love what you've done here with the alcohol inks particularly Trace.
