I'm back again for another Wednesday SC share! This time I am going pretty, using the sweet Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice collection.

Here is my page, of dear red-head daughter, all done up for her dance concert.

I started simply, with a sheet of white cardstock and the Honey and Spice 6x6 inch paper pad. The colour tones were perfect for my photos. 

I pulled out the 6x6 sheets that might work, and worked layering them on the page. I used machine stitching for interest to attach each square of paper.

I layered different papers under the photos, as well as cutting some tags and quotes from the papers.

I distressed the edges of all the papers too.

In these close up you can see how I finished the page....

  

For the title, I used a Kinder Kreations chipboard word, which I heat embossed with Colour Blast Embossing Powder in Bling.

I included wood arrows, leaves and flowers from my stash.

You can also see that I used some additional gold to highlight - I used the gold to paint in the flowers, as well as to add splatters to the page. I used Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Bling for this - taking the lid off and using a paint brush.

But wait.... bonus page....

I had some left over papers from the Heidi Swapp - Honey and Spice 6x6 inch paper pad I had been using.. so threw this page together with the left overs...

I made my own paste using white texture paste, mixed with Colour Blast mica powders (Peach and Bling), and put that through a floral Kaiser stencil.

Layered the Honey & Spice papers and tags, with a heap of goodies from my stash.

Finished with some pink splatters, using Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Blush pink.

Formal time!

I took so many pics of this formal and really need to scrap them with this moodboard as it is just perfect for these pics. My son & his girlfriend looked absolutely fabulous for these pics ... she was a true princess in the pics and they both had so much fun. In creating the page I sprayed some Dylusions ink on my messy mat and then pressed the white cardstock on it to pick up the colour. 

I then gathered various embellishments and layered them on the page to check on placement before taking them off  & using a stencil with liquitex modelling paste and  the Jane Davenport stamp to add stamping in black. 

I have used foam tape to add height to the photo and accentuate the layers. I have used Heidi Swapp glitter words to lift and add sparkle to the page. I have also used some acetate embellishments and a perspex frame. 

I have stitched a black border to help ground the layout  - I am totally loving the glitter and the different shades of pink that have shone through on this page.

2020 Planning - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!

It's Karyn here, and today I have some Planner pages to share with you made using lots of goodies available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

This year I'm using a gorgeous Black and White Heidi Swapp Planner that comes in this fabulous kit. I love the size of this planner - it measures approx 15cm x 21cm which is what I would call a mid-size planner. It is also an undated planner. When I initially got into planners a few years ago I preferred having dated ones but now I prefer them to be undated. One advantage is that if you buy it, then don't use it straight away, you can use it a few years later!  

Look at all the planning goodness in this kit - my fav colours!!  

The first thing I did was to put all the goodies in the pockets inside the planner - it looks so pretty!  

I then decorated the front page with some sparkly Heidi Swapp glitter alphas and a card and paperclip from the kit.  

Next I decorated pages for the first few weeks of January. I added the dates for each of the days (the date stickers were in the kit), then I created some tags using Heidi Swapp 2015 memory planner 6x8 paper pad . I also added stickers from the MAMBI Happy Planner sticker packs.

Hi everyone,

Over the past few months I have been building my collection of the wonderful and colourful Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints. I also recently acquired a Geli Plate - they are a perfect combination for a page. 

Let's take a look....

I started with my 5x7 inch Geli plate and added some Dina Wakley paint -In Ruby with some small squeezes of Eggplant.

Then, I layered the leaf masks from Carabelle Studio.

I printed this to the centre of  a smooth white piece of cardstock. And rollered some excess paint on the edges of the print.

Once it was dry, I added some stamped leaves using Staz On Jet Black with Dina Wakley Media - Stamps: Scribbly Leaves and Pods.

With a wet brush, I painted some of the leaves in, and around the edges and added lots of splatters.

I added some extra black stamping, and black splatters using some watered down Dina Wakley Media: Acrylic Paint in Black.

To finish I added some doodling, washi tape, flowers and a flair button.  

I used the American Craft: Thickers: Adventures Copper for the title and extras!

A little goth

I have had this skull and wing set for a while now, just waiting for the right thing to set them up in.

 I used old book paper and glued them to the back of the frame with gel medium. My intention was to be able to see some of the script at the end......that didn't happen.

I then added some 3D gel and made little peaks in it with my palette knife. Let dry.

Set up your design.

I added a layer of impasto paint which is just coloured gesso really, to add some tooth to the pieces for the paint to stick.

Start colouring. I have used Alchemy metallique paint Black Velvet and 2 of the waxes. Rose gold and Amethyst magic.

It needed a bit more depth so I used these 2 new waxes.

Now some contrast.

Add some warmth with red and brass.
