2020 Planning - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!

It's Karyn here, and today I have some Planner pages to share with you made using lots of goodies available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

This year I'm using a gorgeous Black and White Heidi Swapp Planner that comes in this fabulous kit. I love the size of this planner - it measures approx 15cm x 21cm which is what I would call a mid-size planner. It is also an undated planner. When I initially got into planners a few years ago I preferred having dated ones but now I prefer them to be undated. One advantage is that if you buy it, then don't use it straight away, you can use it a few years later!  

Look at all the planning goodness in this kit - my fav colours!!  

The first thing I did was to put all the goodies in the pockets inside the planner - it looks so pretty!  

I then decorated the front page with some sparkly Heidi Swapp glitter alphas and a card and paperclip from the kit.  

Next I decorated pages for the first few weeks of January. I added the dates for each of the days (the date stickers were in the kit), then I created some tags using Heidi Swapp 2015 memory planner 6x8 paper pad . I also added stickers from the MAMBI Happy Planner sticker packs.

March planning - by Chloe

I've settled quite happily into my planner now, enjoying the process of planning and documenting my days.  To join me on my journey, check out my February planning post HERE and my first planner post HERE.

Here is what my planner looks like this month:

I loved the February Planner Kit from Scrappingclearly - so many pretty things!  One of the was this bow clip ... how gorgeous is it!  I think it's the perfect addition to my front cover ...

...along with the little 2016 charm that came with the January Planner kit. 

Hello, March!

I added a tag in here ... it fitted perfectly!

The chipboard flower pieces in the Feb planner kit are fabulous - they are thin so they don't add too much bulk to the pages ... and easily altered to suit!  I've painted this one with gesso and misted in pink, and stamped with the dot stamp in the Feb planner kit over the top.

This is another chipboard flower, this time I've coloured it with a gel pen and popped a silver sticker (from the Feb planner kit) over the top.

Here are my plastic sleeves made all pretty - ready for some of my fav pics of the month ...

The monthly page is probably my most used page ... lots of things to remember and notes etc get put into here!  (I try to take pics when it looks a bit neat at least :P )

And there it is!  Another month's planning underway!

I am sharing another planner post today! 

I am really loving my planner, making it pretty and taking the time to write a little about my day ...

So, here is February ...

Again, I've just decorated the plastic pockets ready to insert my fav pics of the month ...

I couldn't resist making a little SHAKER POCKET using the sequins and beads from the January Planner kit!! 

Because, every month needs some sparkle, don't you think?? :D

Here's what my month looks like so far ... love adding some extra stickers and washi tape strips where there's a free spot!

You might remember last month I said that I was using the day pages as a kind of diary ... I'm really enjoying that .... here's a little peek at one of my weeks....  a few extras like stickers, stamps, washi tape and my fav paper clips which mark the week I'm currently on.  Nothing fancy here ...

At the back, I've added the yellow paper bag from the January Planner kit ... it's attached with paper clips and I'm using it to store my sticker packs and note cards ... a great way to keep them all in one place!

Planning my planner! - Chloe

Have you jumped on the planner wagon yet?  I must admit, I am totally new to it all ... so, I'm learning as I go!  Thankfully, like most things, there is no right or wrong, no good or bad, it's just for me.

I received this gorgeous planner from the store:

After looking at it for a while and thinking just how cute and sweet it was .... I set to work making it "mine" :)

 

This is what it looks like inside.  Lots of pockets in the inside cover where I know I'll store even more things than this!

 



I love the gold!  I love the little clear pockets too - I plan to put my fav pics from that month in ... at the moment, I've just made them look pretty :)

Then there's the what I'm calling the LIST page ... (it looks slightly more added to now ... ;) )

and no, I haven't finished covering those school books yet!! eeek!!

Then, there's the calendar page.  This will be one of my most used pages!  And, it's been added to a lot more since this pic was taken too!

Love seeing my month at a glance!

After these pages are individual day pages.  These I've decided to use as a kind of diary, so they are a little more personal and I won't share them.

So, that's the beginning of my planner journey!  It's something new for me, but so far I'm enjoying it immensely :)

Memory Planner 2016!!

Happy 2016 everyone!! A new exciting year to be inspired and have renewed goals. 

I was so very happy with my Christmas gift from Kylie, a beautiful memory planner created by the talented Heidi Swapp! It's in the Scrapping Clearly Shop every one of the gorgeous planner accessories you will be looking for.

This planner seems to be made with everything I love. The floral, the gold, the black and white stripes and the quotes. Love it so much!! I couldn't ask for more.

Here is a link to the Heidi Swapp overview of her 2016 memory planners, I love to listen to her enthusiasm for memory keeping. You all know what I am talking about, Heidi certainly motivates me to want to record my memories.

  This is my first pretty planner and I am looking forward to creating my pages and having everything in one place that I can refer to easily. My life certainly needs this!

 Everything was thought of to make this planner functional and fun with these emoji stickers a must have.
I really want to add handmade items as well and will do so throughout the year. The first handmade item is this cute vellum bow that I purchased from Rainbow Splendour and I added a gold paper clip. 

There will be lots of inspiration from all the design team members every month planning, so we look forward to sharing with you all. Please feel free to comment on any of the blog posts and we will be happy to chat.

My organiser is a bamboo cutlery draw from Kmart spray painted white with the Heidi Swapp gold spot washi tape added around the base.

Planning Planners?

Good Morning Rikki here today with a planning a planner post. I am lost without my Kikki K planner it has my life - iterally in it. I know our phones have loads of app to keep track of our lives but I have to say that I am a little bit more old school when it comes to keeping track, there's just something about writing it down that helps me recall the information.

As I am new to the making planners pretty stuff (nothing about my Kikki K one is pretty eg with photos and washi etc), I will be sharing each month the things I have learnt, how my style will change throughout the year. So we will be learning together. 

So I will be keeping my Kikki K planner and also working with a beautiful Heidi Swapp planner...... the idea is that I will keep life stuff like bills due, blog post info in my Kikki K and using my Heidi Swapp one as a review/reflection of the family stuff that we did over that month, so by the end of the year I will have a mini album that will also assist in helping me remember the events of the year, as a reference to my normal layouts. 

So my start point was to gather some supplies that I think I will want to use throughout the planner, I know that I want to keep my planner quite flat on the inside, to keep the planner from over flowing. I also know I want to be able to add envelopes and pockets to store memorabilia throughout the year so its sorted and stored without a lot of work going into that process. 

Washi tape is a must, I find that with three kids all over the place and with school holidays its an easy to colour code these things without writing it all over the planner, it really saved me this year so I will be carrying it over to 2016.

The next thing will be about the pen!!!! I dont want it to bleed through, feather out, I want it to be nice and thin also. So for those who have done this before..... what are you using? What should I stay away from?
