Purple Moodboard Art Journalling - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have an Art Journal page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

I'm playing along with the August moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until August 31st and you need to upload your challenge here.

This page is created on a cotton rag watercolour page in my 8x10 Dina Wakley Media Journal. I added some colour to the page using a painting with plastic technique and Prima watercolour confections - purples from the Classics and Tropicals palates.

I added some stamping using black Archival ink and Vicki Boutin Color Study Stamps

Next I added stencilling using a Kaisercraft stencil and TCW platinum modelling paste.

In keeping with the purple theme I found an image on Pinterest and printed it out on photo paper. I added Vicki Boutin Storyteller Mosaic paper and fussy cut images from Storyteller PL card 12x12 paper, as well as Tim Holtz Idea-ology small talk snarky stickers. I also added some Heidi Swapp ghost alphas. Lastly I drew around the edge of the page using a Fude ball pen.

Some close-up images.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Everything Is Possible - With Karyn Schultz!

  Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have an Art Journal page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

I'm playing along with the July moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until July 31st and you need to upload your challenge here

This page is created on a burlap/hessian page in my 8x10 Dina Wakley Media Journal. I started by stencilling using Nuvo glimmer paste in Sapphire blue (The sparkly paste fitted in perfectly with the moodboard!) and a 13 Arts stencil. When I'm working on Hessian I prefer to keep my creating minimal. Adding a feature stencil, an image and a few diecuts are all that you need on a page :)

I added an image I found on Pinterest, some white diecuts, and Tim Holtz Idea-ology small talk stickers.

Some close-up images.

Just Be Yourself - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

I'm playing along with the June moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until June 30th and you need to upload your challenge here

I chose to use kraft cardstock for the background - to coordinate with the moodboard. Then I used lots of papers and elements from the Vicki Boutin Storyteller collection.

The 3"x4" cards are cut from the Storyteller paper. The ephemera is from the ephemera cardstock die-cuts pack. I also added some 2 Crafty chipboard aztec arrows, paper flowers, hessian trim, metal embellishments and enamel dots. I also added some extra words from the Tim Holtz small talk sticker book.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

I'm playing along with the May moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until May 31st and you need to upload your challenge here.
For my background I started with heavy white cardstock cut down to 22cm x 22cm. I then sprayed Dylusions Shimmer spray in Tangerine dream through an Art-By-Marlene stencil

Here is my completed page.

I matted the white cardstock onto a sheet of  Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Choose To Shine" paper. I matted my photo (8cm x 10.5cm printed with a white border) onto a Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Good Stuff" paper offcut. I fussy cut lots of butterflies from a sheet of Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Take Flight" paper and flowers from "Among The Wildflowers" paper and added to the page. I used a Fude Ball pen to draw around the edge of the white cardstock, and I added splatters of DWM Marine Gloss Spray. Lastly I added a date stamp, journalling, chipboard and enamel dots.

Here are some close-ups of the page.

Happy Every Day - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm playing along with the May moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until May 31st and you need to upload your challenge here.
For my background I started with a sheet of Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Collect & Document" paper. I then used some Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink pads in Fired Brick and Spiced Marmalade to add colour to the background. I did this by smooshing the inkpad onto some plastic packaging, spraying with water then stamping on to the page.

Next I used the same Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink pads in Fired Brick and Spiced Marmalade but this time I applied them with a sponge through an Art-By-Marlene stencil.

To add a pop of teal/blue to the page I used Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink pads in Broken China to colour some 2 Crafty Chipboard. To do this I smooshed the inkpad onto my craft mat, lightly sprayed with water then painted on with a brush.

 Here is my completed page.

I matted my photo on a selection of tags cut from Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Good Stuff" paper. I fussy cut lots of butterflies from a sheet of Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Take Flight" paper and flowers from "Among The Wildflowers" paper and added to the page. I used a Fude Ball pen to draw around the edge of the page, and I added splatters of DWM Marine Gloss Spray.

Here are some close-ups of the page.

Like A Dream - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have an art journal page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm playing along with the April moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until April 30th and you need to upload your challenge here

These pages are created on a burlap page in my 8x10 Dina Wakley Media Journal. Once again I find these pages a challenge to use - So I decided to create some tags to attach to the page.

I've use a tag that I added stencilling using Distress Oxides in colours that coordinated with the moodboard - I used Cracked Pistachio, squeezed lemonade, and worn lipstick. These were sponged through an Art By Marlene stencil.

I added a photo I found on Pinterest, I matted it on some tags from a Heidi Swapp Embellishment kit. Lastly I added some white diecuts,  Tim Holtz Idea-ology Snarky quotes and ScrapFX Flowery Bits. I doodled around the edges of all the tags with a black Fude Ball pen.

 Here is my completed page.

Here are some close-ups of the page.
