Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!!
It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of goodies available in the Scrapping Clearly Store. I've used the Simple Stories "Life in Color" collection (collection kit, bits and pieces, clear stickers, washi tape, enamel dots).
The story behind the photos is interesting. Rachael had to design a CD cover for her
design/art subject. She wanted a photo like this of herself. These were
the test photos she took of Jessica. The wind was achieved with a
blower vac - it was a very noisy experience!! I'll scrap the final photos of her in a future project!
I've layeres lots of elements from the Simple Stories "Life in Color" collection (papers, bits and pieces, clear stickers, washi tape, enamel dots). I've fallen back in love with Simple stories - these papers are so fun and I love all the elements you can buy within the collection. I spent a weekend creating 3 scrapbook pages and 6 project life pages just using this collection!!
I
like to cut out all of the cards from the 12x12 pages - some are used
for PL pages and others are used for elements on my scrapbook pages. I've used the wood grain pattern 10cmx10cm cards on this page and printed my photos the same size.
I've used lots of strips from the Washi packet on my page. I love there are a variety of patterns and shapes available.
For this page I have used lots of the alphas from the sticker sheet in the collection pack - I love the variety and the colours coordinate perfectly!
Scrapping Clearly products I've used include
Cardstock
Simple Stories "Life in Color" collection (collection kit, bits and pieces, clear stickers, washi tape, enamel dots)
Studio Calico wood veneer hearts and arrows
Thanks so much for stopping by

" Sweet Dreams" layout with Bernii Miller using the Cute Girl collection.
Heellloooooo
Its Bernii Miller with you here today to share with you a layout I created using the Crate Paper Cute Girl collection. This is such an adorable collection and I can't seem to stop creating with it.
This layout was super easy to ship up using the 6 x 6 paper pad and my heart punch.
I wanted there to be some dimension so I sewed down each of the " flowers" and then added some foam dots under the petals.
I used these cute cute tassels to layer under the chipboard.. you can get them HERE.
Well thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today and if you like what you see then please head on over to the Scrapping Clearly store to grab some of the Cute Girl collection for yourself.
Well thank you so much for stopping by today..
Till next time much love
Bernii xx

Love you Sketch Challenge layout with Amy Prior
Hi everyone! Amy Prior back with you all today, this time sharing my take on the November Sketch Challenge here at Scrapping Clearly. You can view all of the details of the current challenges by clicking here. Here is the sketch for November 2016...
...and here is my take on the sketch challenge for this month using lots of gorgeous products available from the Scrapping Clearly store. As you can see I ventured a little from the sketch but not by much :) I have simply moved a couple of things, etc. which is the best bit about sketches as they can be rotated etc. if required.
I also have a quick step-by-step tutorial for this layout below along with some closeup images also.
Step 1 - Using a palette knife, create an oval shape onto the background patterned paper with some Liquitex Glass Bead Effects Medium.
Step 2 - Paint over the top of the dried Liquitex Glass Bead Effects Medium using some Liquitex Gesso.
Step 3 - When the Liquitex Gesso is completely dry, spray over the top using some Colour Blast - Shimmer Spray - Envy and allow to dry naturally or heat dry using a heat tool.
Step 4 - Open the bottle of Shimmer Spray and, using the lid, splatter a couple of extra spots of the Envy colour around the page.
Step 5 - When the Colour Blast spray is dry, rub some Inka Gold - Gold over the top of the texture lightly to help it pop!
Step 6 - Cut random sized rectangles out of Maggie Holmes - Bloom Collection - Patterned papers making sure not to cut any pieces bigger than the photograph that you are using for this page.
Step 7 - Layer the pieces of cut patterned papers along with some Maggie Holmes - Bloom Collection - Ephemera pieces around the photograph just leaving a little piece showing for each layer to ensure the frame around the photo does not get too large.
Step 8 - Embellish the layout using various items from Maggie Holmes - Bloom Collection - Chipboard, Maggie Holmes - Bloom Collection - Delights, Maggie Holmes - Bloom Collection - Ephemera, Maggie Holmes - Bloom Collection - Rubber Shapes. I have also added a few flowers from my stash to finish the layout off.
The complete product list used for this layout includes...
Well that is it from me today, don't forget that you can checkout the current challenges here on the Scrapping Clearly blog. Until next time, happy scrapping!

November Mood Board Inspiration
Hi Artsy peeps!
Can you believe its November already!
I've been in a bit of a creative funk over the last few weeks, and I'm putting it down to TMP.... Too much product!!
You know what I mean, when you buy every coordinating paper and embellishment, strategically hide it from your husband for a few weeks, then when you finally sit down to play (with children stocked up on lollies in front of the TV) all the pretty stuff just overwhelms you and you end up pinning things on pintrest or surfing instagram...
I get this alot, and the way I get past the TMP curse is Mood board and sketches!! I wrote a post about this on my blog called Sketches to the rescue. This months mood board for Scrapping Clearly is just simply gorgeous. The teals and blues with the pop of gold just sang to me, and I used it as the basis for 2 layouts this month.
If your looking for some products to add to your arty stash, then the Colourblast products are a must have. Here I've used the Shimmer dusts in Cobalt, Peacock and Navy to create my background on Marshmallow Heavy weight cardstock.
Ive layered up a heap of goodies to create layers and texture: medical gauze, Heidi Swapp tags, Sari silk fabric swatch, gold tissue paper, black card stock.
The peacock chippie was a in my stash, and ive used the Colour Blast Embossing powders in Just Blue and Singing the blues to colour it.
My next layout was just a quickie I whipped up using the
Zip-A-Dee-Doo by Bo Bunny . I rummaged through my stash and used up my left over bits and pieces.
This is the part about mood boards that I love... You use it as a basis for your layout, and grab things that sort-a-kinda go and all the hard work is done for you.
I hope that helps you a little bit to get out this creative funk time of the year.. otherwise known as '4th term-itis' or thank god its almost the end of the year'...
Happy Scrapping

Love with Melinda
Hi there ScrappingClearly fans!! Melinda here with you today sharing this pretty page I created the absolutely gorgeous C'est La Vie collection by Pink Paislee that you can pick up in the store here!
Without further ado, here is my final page and if you follow this link you can see my YouTube video with my process!
I love that with the PP ranges they have paper numbers and not names! It makes it so easy!! So, I have used paper #11 for the background and paper #02 for the little layer behind the photo (the pink B side). I have also used the last piece of this beautiful vellum from the Maggie Holmes Bloom collection as a bit of a bigger layer behind my photo. I have also added a doily from my stash :)
I have fussy cut 3 of these beautiful clusters of flowers from paper #03 and stuck them in 3 different places on the page. I used the beautiful mirror stickers for my title - simple and sweet - love. I have also used some of the bit and pieces from the ephemera pack and some of the stickers from both the washi sheets and the tiny word black and gold stickers.
The tag holds my journalling behind my photo and the tag came from the ephemera pack also.
The top cluster with some of those fussy cut flowers, a word sticker and a mirror heart. And some black stamping.
My title area and you can see the gorgeousness of those mirror stickers, swoon.....
And to the left of the photo.
And just a close up of the main embellishments and the branding strips I have cut from paper #02 and #04 to add to the bottom of the page to add a little grounding. Oh, and that adorable pink and gold me + you tab also from the ephemera pack.
Lastly I sprinkled a little Roadbase colour spray using a small paint brush, attached staples in 3 places and did a little stamping, also in 3 places.
I so love this collection and I love this photograph of my husband and I.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by the blog today, I love reading all the lovely comments and I hope you enjoyed this post and my video!
Melinda
