Ink,Water colour and stencils

Morning Girls

I am showing you a technique that I learnt from the beautiful Jen Hall.

We all have these items in our stash, if not Scrapbooking clearly has all you will need follow the links.

Good cardstock Bazill
water and paint brushes or water pens
Foam applicators
Chipboard words and diecuts

The first step is to do a water colour wash over your background. Stay either warm or cool colours, in this layout I went with cool....pale blue and mid blue with a touch of lemon.
You can use water colour pencils, crayons or cake.
Let it dry.

Grab about 4 or 5 of your stencils to layer over the top.
Take your foam applicator and distress ink I started with the triangle shape stencil and Salty Ocean.
Arrows with Stormy sky.
Script with Chipped Saphire.
Circles with Ripe Persimmon.
Dots with Barn Door.

I used tissue paper for the photo mat, diecuts, chipboard and rubons to finish it off.

Have fun playing and thanks for looking.
Tracey
