So Fancy - what is old..... can it be new?

Good Morning Rikki here today and as promised in the last post its all about what is old is new..... well revisiting my old scrap booking pages and revamping them with my style and of course all the fabulous products that once weren't that readily available.

Today I am using the Simple Stories So Fancy range and like the title implies it is!!! In store now!!!

So to start with the old: (insert shameful gasp..... its not that bad but now we now know better and have better things).

So now you have seen the past onto the future over the next couple of weeks I am going to show you  a progression starting of with a simple layer booklet into something a bit more intense each week. So hopefully you will feel confident in what your doing to try it yourself.

And dont stress these post will be jam packed full of detailed photos.

So start off with one simple photo and tow peices of pattern papers and cut them to size and go sew them together. (* tip: score your first one so it is able to lift up without tearing).

Stick some of your stickers back to back to make a lift tab.

Remember to position some of your fussy cut flowers so you can see them when the tag is closed also include a couple on the top to tie it all together.

Got to love a little touch of gold foil on the Simple Stories - So Fancy Chipboard.

These Simple Stories phrase stickers are great dont forget to add some on the backs as you will see it in the inside of the book.

So why dont you revisit one of your old layouts and revamp it..... if you do please leave us a link in the comments or pop over to our community page and share there, we would love to see what you create.

Till next week have a creative day.
