Awesome - A scrapbook layout with Lisa J

Hello and welcome to another week of inspiration on the Scrapping Clearly Blog.

Today I am sharing a layout created with one of my all time favourite photos taken by the very talented Deb Godley. The photo showcased my little guy's personality perfectly - he is nine now and still just as crazy happy.

I have used papers from the Heidi Swapp September Skies 6 x 6 paper pad together with some stickers from the Cocoa Vanilla You Rock Accessory Sticker sheet. They are just perfect for adding a little phrase here and there.

My background was created with Dylusions paint in Fresh Lime and a cutfile cut from black cardstock. I love the dramatic pop of the black against the gorgeous fresh lime paint colour. I added a little stamping in the background with Archival Ink in Jet Black ( my favourite black ink).  

I have also used some Heidi Swapp Color Magic diecuts with blue ink. I love the resist effect and being able to customise the diecuts to suit my project.

Sometimes simple is better when it comes to showcasing a favourite photo.

Resort Style Scrapbook Page - With Karyn Schultz!

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page with you :)

Have you seen all of the fabulous Cocoa Vanilla Studio Collections available in the Scrapping Clearly Store? At the moment I'm in love with the Bohemian Dreams Collection. I love the pretty colours and floral designs! This month I've made a few projects with this collection - the first being this scrapbook page with a photo of us girls enjoying the sun on our recent holiday :)

I started with a sheet of white cardstock and used some Distress Oxide ink pads in Faded Jeans, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers and used a "painting with plastic" technique to create my background. 

Next, I added a strip of CVS Bohemian Dreams Abundant paper cut down to 4"x12" of the blue side and 1"x12" of the floral side - and attached this to the top of the page.

Then I took the CVS Bohemian Dreams 6x6 paper pad and chose papers to mat my photo and place along the bottom of the page. I love the smaller designs on these papers and love that there are a variety of papers to use!

I added the CVS Bohemain Dreams die-cuts in the bottom right corner of my photo as well as a cute Flamingo paper clip from Dear Lizzy Happy Place collection and pink glitter alpha stickers from Heidi Swapp 2016 Memory planner collection. 

On the left side of my photo, I added more CVS Bohemain Dreams die-cuts and pink glitter alpha stickers as well as stickers from the CVS Bohemian Dreams Accessory sticker sheet. I just love the word stickers on this sheet - perfect additions to any Scrapbook or Project Life page! 

On the bottom of my page, I added another butterfly die-cut, word stickers, pink glitter heart stickers, and a piece cut from the CVS Bohemian Dreams Boho Bits 12x12 paper.

Lovely Layers by Leonie Neal-Dawson

Hello Hello Leonie with you today with my first post for the month of May.
I have a simple but quite lovely page to share with you today with lots of lovely layers.  Cardstock, patterned paper, acetate, more patterned paper, doilies, washi tape, stickers layer them on top of each other to create a Lush Layout. 

I love the effect of layering, little details that poke out from the edges to add depth and interest to your page.

I began with a base of white cardstock and placed the 'Lovely Paper' from the Chasing Dreams Crate Paper range.  On top of this I used the lovely Glitter on Acetate overlay from Maggie Holmes.  A doily and more Patterned Paper layers followed from Paper Arts and Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Bloom collection.

I 

I used Heidi Swapp Memory Planner Label foil stickers to write my Journalling on.
I also embellished my page with paper clips from Fancy Pants Designs, puffy Stickers From Heidi Swapp.  The 'Awesome' title is also from Heidi Swapp wood veneer.

I also included some Washi tape from the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection.
I guess that finished off the page with all the lovely layers.

Well hello everyone, and welcome to May!! 

Today I’m sharing a 12x12 with you that is very colourful and a little grungy. 

I started with a Paper Arts for my base sheet, this one is Psycadelic 2. 

I really wanted the paper elements and embellishments to stand out so I swiped some Jo Sonja black texture paste on the base. 

Then proceeded to add colours that were already in the base sheet but would ‘pop’ more. 

So I chose Dina Wakley acrylic paints in turquoise and sky. 

Then I created tags out of a few sheets from the Heidi Swapp 8x6 pad, And a resist tag to create my layers under my photo. I used a handful of the Tim Holtz rub ons along with some stamps prior to adding the tags. 

Under my photo I tucked a frame that I had, added a couple of the rub ons onto, and then came the embellishments. 

Firstly the Heidi Swapp arrows and the complimentary flairs. 

These arrows are so easy to work with and add a nice quick easy way to embellish. Then I added a few enemel stars from Heidi Swapp. 

Finally I flicked liquitex titanium white ink around and outlined my tags with liquid paper. 

This page was complete. 

Quick and simple.

A Farewell - My Time in Review - Peg Hewitt

Hello Arty Peeps!

It is with a little sadness that I bring you this farewell post today.

The last 2 years have been a fantastic ride, being a member of the community, and Kylie's Design Team at Scrapping Clearly. I have met so many wonderful people and am still grateful for the amazing opportunity of teaching at Gundy Scraptacular. That was a weekend I will always treasure!
