"The best things" - Art journal, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited to be here to share today - using my first ever real Dina Wakley journal. It is one of the new release blue journals and this is just my second page. I already LOVE the paper weight and textures. Can't wait to do more over the next few months. Very exciting for a "scrapbooker"!

I started by swiping some Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint (in Magenta) with a credit card on the page.

Next I sprayed some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray (in Fuschia) through a stencil.

Then I fussy cut a Jane Davenport Washi girl and stuck her to the page with Gel Medium.

To finish the page I added some random stamping, highlighting and mark making. I used a black posca pen as well as the new Pilot Pintor pens in black and green.

Here is the final page in my journal...

I added plenty of highlights and marks with my paint pens.

And included a sticker from my Art by Marlene sticker book.

Thanks for looking. Can't wait to create more and share more.

Lost in the Right Direction- an Art Journal page with Lisa Oxley

Howdy Folks Lisa here with a Sunday Scrapping Clearly mixed media update.
Using a mix of old and new goodies,
today I am sharing a quick page that can definately be twisted your way.

I've used a few new Dylusions colours and mixed them with a page
from the first run of Dina's Collage Collectives.

Here's the video..
a little rumbling along the way, whoops.

and I've used these products to create this page.

Thanks for dropping by,
I'll be back before long with another SC mixed media update.
Stay safe and keep creating, It's very good therapy.

Art Journalling - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!

It's Karyn here, and today I have an art journal page to share with you made using lots of goodies available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

I've used my Dina Wakely 8x10 media art journal and this page is a cotton rag watercolor paper. I started by adding paint to the background. I used some DMW paint colours (black, marine, elephant and ancient)  that I watered down and swiped across my page. Once this was dry I added splatters of each colour as well.

Next I added torn strips of washi from the Heidi Swapp Emerson Lane Washi pack, then I added some background stamping.

As a feature I added Dina Wakley face stamps in a repeated pattern across the page.

I added some Small Talk - Snarky words from Tim Holtz - these words are so fun!

Then I drew around the edge of the page with a Fude Ball pen and added some swipes of Bo Bunny gold glitter paste.

Thanks so much for stopping by

My Cup of Care - Art Journalling with Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!

It's Karyn here, and today I have an art journal page to share with you made using lots of goodies available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

I've used my Dina Wakely 8x10 media art journal and this page is a calico fabric. I've started by applying some Dina Wakley paints (Gilt, black and Silver/Medieval) to the page using a palette knife. Then I added some stencilling using TCW black modelling paste. Next I added some background stamping.

Once the background was thoroughly dry I added strips of DWM collage paper, strips of a white doilie, some hessian cut from from one of the pages in the DWM journal and stamped leaves from an Art by Marlene stamp.

I added a DWM sketched face stamped image as the focal point for my page. Lastly I added some Small Talk - Snarky words from Tim Holtz - these words are so fun and are my new fav word stickers!
