Cybercrop Challenges - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a mini tag album page that I created for the Australia Day Cybercrop using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

I used the Heidi Swapp mini tag album for this project. This album has lots of fun tags and pockets to use.

The first challenge was "What's your state". South Australia had red, blue and yellow as the colours. I changed this up a bit and used DWM acrylic paints in Sedona, Marine and Gilt to paint a Heidi Swapp frame embellishment.

I then used a sharpie to colour some Heidi Swapp ghost alphas.

I wanted to do some gel printing so I used a small round Gel Press and painted (with my fingers) DWM acrylic paints in Sedona, Marine and Gilt. I did a facebook live on the day showing how I did the Gel Printing and a flip through of my mini album, you can see that here.

Then I applied the gel press to one of the tags in the mini album. I also did more of this on smooth lightweight white cardstock.

Here is the first of my finished pages/tags for the first challenge. I love how it turned out. I also added stamping and stencilling, and cut out some shapes from old book paper. Lastly I added splatters of DWM gloss sprays in Marine and Gilt.

The mini tag album had blue/grey colours, so I also did some gel printing to coordinate using DWM acrylic paints in white, peacock, turquoise, and marine with pops of magenta, lemon and lime.

How cool are all these prints! I also used a small square Gel Press as well as the small circle.

These next pages/tags are for Challenge 2 "Dreamtime" where I used lots of dot inspired stamps and stencils.

 Challenge 3 "Bucket List"

 Challenge 4 "My Backyard"

  Challenge 5 "My Favourite Place"

 Challenge 6 "My Hometown"

I hope you were able to find time to create for the Cybercrop, I had a lot of fun creating in this mini tag album.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sweet Memories - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I started by creating my background on heavy weight white cardstock. Firstly I added gesso to the page then I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (apricot, aloe and mineral - chosen to coordinate with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream collection).

Next I added some stencilling using the Dylusions old School small alpha stencil and Marine DWM acrylic paint, and the DWM Wallpaper stencil and Carnation DWM acrylic paint.

Lastly I added sprays and splatters of DWM gloss spray (marine, apricot, aloe, carnation, mineral).

I hand cut a heap of embellishments from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream collection 6x8 paper pack.

 Here is my finished page.

I matted my photo on papers from the CVS Daydream paper pack. I then embellished with the hand cut shapes, word stickers, wood veneer and paper flowers. I also added a heap of Mambi Sticks chipboard words. Lastly I used a Fude ball pen to draw around the edges of the page.

Be Brave - Art Journalling With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have 2 art journal pages that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

These pages are created on cotton watercolor paper in my 8x10 Dina Wakley Media Journal

I started by applying gesso to both pages then I added torn strips of DWM collage paper using gel medium. Next I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (turquoise, lime, magenta) and used a DWM Viney stencil and baby wipe technique to remove some of the paint. Then I added sprays and splatters of DWM gloss spray (turquoise, lime, magenta, lemon). Next I applied Lemon DWM acrylic paint through a TCW/Dina Wakley mini four ferns stencil.

I added more stencilling with black DWM acrylic paint.

To finish the pages I added background stamping, I outlined the pages with a Fude ball pen, I added some collage elements from project offcuts and book paper as well as a fussy cut stamped image from the DWM Positive Women stamp set and DWM Abstract Figures stamp set. Art By Marlene Word Stickers completed the page.

More Mini Art Journalling - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have 4 art journal pages that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

I have created all of the pages in my Dina Wakley Media White Journal

For this first page I start by painting DWM acrylic paint across the page (lime, turquoise, ocean, medieval, mineral). Then I sprayed DWM gloss spray in lemon through the DWM circle halves stencil. Next I added splatters of DWM gloss spray (night).  I added some collage elements from project offcuts and book paper as well as a fussy cut stamped image. Some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers completed the page.

For this next page I used similar colours to the first page. I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (lime, turquoise, ocean, medieval, mineral). Then I sprayed DWM gloss spray in lemon through the DWM circle halves stencil and Night DWM gloss spray through the DWM Swirling dashes stencil.  Next I added splatters of DWM gloss spray (night).  I added some collage elements from project offcuts and book paper. Some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers completed the page. I like to use my Tim Holtz Tiny attacher to attach collage elements.

The next 2 pages use similar techniques with a different colour palate.

For the next page I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (blushing, magenta, fuschia, lemon eggplant). Then I sprayed DWM gloss spray in lemon through the DWM circle halves stencil. Next I added splatters of DWM gloss spray (eggplant and lemon).  I added some collage elements from project offcuts and book paper. Some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers completed the page.

For the last page I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (blushing, magenta, fuschia, lemon eggplant). Then I sprayed DWM gloss spray in eggplant through the DWM wallpaper stencil. Next I added splatters of DWM gloss spray (eggplant and lemon).  I added some collage elements from project offcuts and book paper, as well as a fussy cut stamped image from the DWM Positive Women stamp set. Some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers completed the page.

Happy - With Karyn Schultz!

  Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm playing along with the October moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until October 31 and you need to upload your challenge here

I started by creating my background on heavy weight white cardstock. I added gesso to the page then I added torn strips of book paper and DWM collage paper using gel medium.

Next I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (turquoise, sky, ocean) and used a Jane Davenport mermaid scale stencil and baby wipe technique to remove some of the paint.

Then I added sprays and splatters of DWM gloss spray (turquoise, ocean, marine, lime) with a DWM celular stencil.

I added more stencilling with black DWM acrylic paint and used a Fude ball pen to draw around the edges of the page.

Lastly I added some background stamping, then stenciling with TCW mini 4 feathers stencil and Bo Bunny silver glitter paste.

Here is my finished page. The photo is Jessica with one of the crabs she caught last Christmas.

I loved the background, so I've kept embellishments to a minimum. I've added a white paper doilie underneath my photo. I've used a HS Dreamy layered paper bow, Dear Lizzy paperclip, and flair from my stash.

How cool do the glitter feathers look up close!

The silver glitter words are Pink Paislee fancy glitter letter stickers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
