Smile

Hello there, how is everyone this week? Has anyone had time to create?

Perhaps you are excited for this year, a fresh start to try something new?

We would love to encourage you to go for it!! There is so much inspiration shared here from Scrapping Clearly and we hope you enjoy visiting us throughout this year.

I had a lot of fun with this one creating this layout using some of the Chickaniddy Crafts Yippee range. I love the colours and summery designs.

I cut out a heart shape from the Kaisercraft Bow and Arrow Chevron 12 x 12 diecut and a slightly smaller heart out of the white cardstock. At the back of the chevron I attached 6 different strips of pattern paper. It was all stitched together, several times to create a whimsical heart.

This Pinwheel was cut using the Tim Holtz die. The silver glittered foam hearts, arrow and my title Smile was using the thickers from Cedar Lane collection.

Have a lovely day being creative!

My Memory Planner Journey 2016

Hi everyone, hope you all celebrated a great Christmas and New Year...

Are you creating a Memory Planner this Year? If so I  hope you are all are as excited as I am to be creating in a brand new Memory Planner for 2016.
For as long as I can remember I have been creating Memory Planners when at school I loved to totally redesign my school diary with stickers and colored pens. It was filled with doodling and scribble and I loved it.

For several years now I have been documenting our family life, important events and life memories in a Planner I have always managed to find planners from stationary stores to create in creating my own style and filling with important moments throughout each year of course that was until Heidi Swapp released her gorgeous Planner ranges.

I am so excited with the latest release the range is so beautiful with amazing products to match the range you can browse the entire range now stocking @ www.scrappingclearly.com.au HERE!!

The store has in stock items from the

Heidi's clever designing allows all ranges to be mixed and matched
I love this about Heidi Swapp Designs.

Scrappingclearly is also offering a

Each month the Kit will offer unique and gorgeous little trinkets to create and embellish your Memory Planner. There is a MONTHLY option and a YEARLY discounted option.

So for me one of the really exciting part is to Design the front Cover
each year my Planner Covers are totally different.

Today I am going to share with you my 2016 Planner Front Cover …….

I always love to create a title including our Families surname TOUT

I have used wooden letters and a foam Thickers Title along with Heidi's Puffy number Stickers. The Chipboard Camera piece will hold my first 2016 Family Portrait.

My Planner is definitely not complete unless it features gorgeous charms hanging form the spine.

I love to add a few bits and pieces ephemera, stickers, Tags, Alphas and so on that I tend to use everyday to tuck away in the inside cover.

All of my other Planner items I store in this awesome rolling 3-tray caddy which includes all my Planner goodies such as Stamps, stickers, adhesives , my insta Printer and loads more.

My front page displays the Year 2016 I have used some gorgeous gold stickers to embellish the Acetate insert in Heidi's Planner.

I can't wait to share with you more from my Memory Planner Journey for 2016 - enjoy

Memory Planner 2016!!

Happy 2016 everyone!! A new exciting year to be inspired and have renewed goals.

I was so very happy with my Christmas gift from Kylie, a beautiful memory planner created by the talented Heidi Swapp! It's in the Scrapping Clearly Shop every one of the gorgeous planner accessories you will be looking for.

This planner seems to be made with everything I love. The floral, the gold, the black and white stripes and the quotes. Love it so much!! I couldn't ask for more.

Here is a link to the Heidi Swapp overview of her 2016 memory planners, I love to listen to her enthusiasm for memory keeping. You all know what I am talking about, Heidi certainly motivates me to want to record my memories.

This is my first pretty planner and I am looking forward to creating my pages and having everything in one place that I can refer to easily. My life certainly needs this!

Everything was thought of to make this planner functional and fun with these emoji stickers a must have.
I really want to add handmade items as well and will do so throughout the year. The first handmade item is this cute vellum bow that I purchased from Rainbow Splendour and I added a gold paper clip.

There will be lots of inspiration from all the design team members every month planning, so we look forward to sharing with you all. Please feel free to comment on any of the blog posts and we will be happy to chat.

My organiser is a bamboo cutlery draw from Kmart spray painted white with the Heidi Swapp gold spot washi tape added around the base.
Happy planner days to you all!!

January sketch sample - by Chloe

Hello everyone and Happy New Year :)  hope it's a happy scrappy one!

I'm here today to share my take on the January sketch ...

there's lots of fabulous layers and a chance to add more photos!

Here is my take on the sketch:

As you can see, I didn't add more pics, just a cut piece from the Kaisercraft – Bow & Arrow Chevron die cut paper to mimic the mini photo element.  Loved this paper, you'll see how I used the rest during the month!

I was saving my last Pink Paislee Bella Rouge Sequin Butterfly for the perfect project and decided this was it! :D

See the lovely sparkly gold paper?  It's Kaiser Craft – All that Glitters – Gold Glitter cardstock ... so fun to add to pages for that bling factor!!

Other products used:
Pink Paislee Belle Rouge Washi Tapes
Pink Paislee Bella Rouge Ephemera
Pink Paislee Memorandum paper - snapshots
Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Open Book Doilies
Maggie Holmes Crate Paper - Open Book Ephemera

Planner Playtime!

Hey hey hey!

Well lookie here... it's the sparkling brand new first day of 2016! I have a little share here today, regarding planners and how I plan to link my planner in with my Project Life - how's that for organisation?

Here is my planner spread for the last week.

See the groovy little QR code in there? The funny box shaped dooverlackeywhatsit with all the squares? Well that lovely little box, is a direct link to blog posts sharing my Project Life and Planner layout for December/Christmas. That PL layout is below for anyone who is interested :)

This is going to be a new feature in my layouts, or at least my monthly layouts, so that everything links back to each other and is co-ordinated s that I can find the relevant stuff if I need it. If there is ever a month that I need to link to more than one place, I will just add extra QR codes.

All you need is a QR generator - you can find a million of these on Google. Pop in the link to where you want the QR code to lead to, and print the magic little box dooverlackeywhatsit. Then just insert the printed image anywhere and it will lead you to the relevant post. Then, on any smart phone or device, you can download a QR reader that will direct to the links :) Pretty cool huh?

Here are some links to the items used in my layouts, available in the best little scrapbooking store around, Scrapping Clearly!
