Christmas mini album

Hello everyone Michelle here to share this pretty Heidi Swapp mini wooden fancy edge album. I love  love love all these Christmas Your Creative Wings Chipboard that was released a while ago. They are beautiful, elegant and detailed like all of Audrey Underwood's collections. I painted the whole book with gold paint and painted the chipboard white. The background paper is from Teresa Collins called Urban Market zig.

 Under the chipboard there are three different doilies layered plain, silver glittered and silver dot vellum which I cut using two different dies. I added a piece of vellum to the inside cover page to soften the gold. The light gold bow is from Maggie Holmes 10 glitter ribbon bows.

Added to the Chipboard are some light gold rhinestones to add highlights and tie in the gold accent.
I am so please that I am prepared for the first time with a Christmas photo album for 2015.
Why not give it a go creating a mini album ready and waiting for your beautiful memories to be displayed.

Fun and Fancy

Good Morning, Michelle here with a new month and new challenges!!  I am excited to share the August Sketch and I loved the circle design. Here are some beautiful products that I was able to create with. 

Maggie Holmes Flea Market 12 inch vellum is so beautiful and can be sewn through quite easily. I have never used a whole sheet of vellum as a background and I was happy with the result.

I am loving the gold trend at the moment and if you are after Gold Albums take a look at the Scrapping Clearly store as they have some very pretty gold ones.

These tags were cut from Teresa Collins Studio Gold  journal cards.

August Moodboard - Kim Kendell

This months moodboard is an amazing marrying of colours so rich vibrant and depth to it, so many ways to use it I have chosen to use the colours the peacock feathers and the style of quote.

To create this I have used a stencil for the guide to the feathers then I have used Dylusions with a paint brush to colour the feathers then flicked the Dylusions on to the white spaces I have also used a Heidi Swapp screen kit to  create my title and I have also included some of the new We R Memory Keepers acetate.

You can see from the close up the  brush strokes which help add texture and feeling to the feather
