' Do Not Crush' by Emma Zappone Plus Video

Hello lovely SC friends!
Today i have another video for you of  8x8 layout.
This project also uses the December Affirmation board colours.

You can see this page come to life here....

The mood affirmation board is stunning and features paper from the new Lucky Findings Foundations pack, which I don't actually own....yet!
But I absolutely love the colours, and so this page was created.

This page consists of lots of products you can find in Kylie's shop such as the awesome 49&Market papers, film strips, rub-ons and more.

I used lots of different elements to create layers including these stunning flowers that match the mood colours.

The mediums that create the colours on the frame and background are mostly Liquitex inks.

I just love the mood boards, they give so much option in creating something you may not always play with. And I do hope you enjoy my little video.

I will catch you all again soon. Happy Crafting.

Creative Love for Your Year Ahead.

Howdy Bloggers, Lisa here with an end of the month Scrapping Clearly mixed media update,
more importantly, we slide into the end of the year,
a little worn out and now, ready to recharge and take on a new year ahead.

Today I am sharing with you a quick art journal page.

Using a few paints, one simple The Crafter's Workshop stencil and
the baby wipe rub back technique, you can throw this one together very swiftly.
I like using one stencil and repeating it with various colours, thus building up the print, solidifying the idea and adding extra interesting details.

I have added a little music sheet paper for extra texture and detail.

Be brave when adding the black.
Tip when using black - use double the amount of wipes and turn your wipe constantly.

Using some ART By Marlene Collage paper to cut a simple heart shape.

A little extra detail on and around the heart, mark making, some background stamping and a slip of Dina Wakley Collage papers for a title then this heart felt, simple piece is finished .

My Basic list of supplies used in most of my pieces can be found here at Scrapping Clearly .

Thanks so much for dropping by the SC blog today.
Sending you all BIG LOVE, happy vibes and a year ahead of creative flow.

Art with all my heart - by Emma

Well hello there SC peeps,
Emma here today to share with you a very easy, quick layout.
It is roughly based on the colour scheme of this months moodboard. And I guess to some degree I was loosely inspired by the ‘stripes’ on the page also 😜
I’ll show you what I mean.......

As you can see the colours are there and then the stripes are the washi tape I used.
I started the whole thing by choosing a sheet from Heidi Swapps Pineapple Crush range in Breezy.
So to get started with colour I used some Dylusions Rose quartz paint first as my base ingredient.
Then once dry I tore strips off 3 of the tapes you can find in the Dylusions washi tape pack. These totally rock!!

Then came a little bit of stamping around the area already created.
This page I chose to use only a couple of ripped pieces of paper from pink paislee memorandum pad up behind my photo.
And then to use as my ‘embellishments’ I used a sheet out of that same pack but cut out all the imaging and letters. These also became layers in my washi tape and as my title.

I also added some random pattern by using liquid paper pen to doodle (inspired by the ever awesome Lisa Oxley)
And a few of the Tim Holtz rub ons in amongst the washi and as part of my title.

I didn’t care if when I flicked the Distress Oxide around it went on my photo as it was to really showcase art.
I chose to use hickory smoke for this so that it didn’t over power the image.
And then I flicked the carbon black liquitex ink once I covered by photo.

I’m pretty happy with the outcome. What do you think?
It’s not perfect but hey that’s ART! 😜
I really look forward to seeing your interpretation of this months moodboard and I’ll be back later on this month to share another layout inspired by the moodboard.
Catch you then, Em xxx
