Warning- Explicit Laguage

Firstly,I am deeply Sorry to all those whom I may offend by putting up this post ,
but I've been to lake Keepin It Real recently and I am doing just that ,
Right? , for those who actually know me .:) :) :)
This piece I'm sharing today was a challenge from the retreat.
An Ugly Paper Challenge.
Firstly,I don't even do challenges but someone thought they would be smart and gave me brown, which basically put me off instantly, ewww brown yuck ! So outta no-where,someone offers to swap with me, and this atrocious 70s/discoball pattern paper comes my way. yippee I was stoked!, well more impressed than with the Brown page.
I cut out 5 "discoball"elements and threw them down, on an old mixed media background page, that I really didn't think I would ever use and a started adding a little doodling,
some stamping and my signature background elements and this baby was done.
I'm trying not to bring to much attention here,to the obscene chipboard from flutterby designs,
but for journaling strength I feel I needed to add this,
to really bring home the point of how much
 I love this Man !
Product used in this layout include-

How much old crappy scrap paper do you have in your stash?
This weekends challenge is to use some of it up.
Go on , pick something ugly and make it work for you !
See you next week.

Happy together layout by Tania

Hello!!! This month I am working with a few gorgeous collections. This one is by SHIMELLE, called Starshine!! I love it, love the ease at which this scrapbook page came together with the fun images and words.

Can you tell that I used this month's moodboard for my inspiration???
The board colours are alot brighter, and I love them, but I decided to tone down and couldn't resist using these papers. The Starshine collection can be found here in the store!
I used about 4 of the papers, my background paper is the: Apollo. Then I set to work cutting up both the Astro  and the Orion papers, which is where I got all my words and tags from. The funky cameras are cut from the Pathfinder paper.

I love all the cut outs supplied with the paper ranges now, it gives you an instant load of embellishments. Everything matches. This is such a clean layout, but it works!
I also added in some Heidi Swapp embellies, because I just have to have a bit of Heidi on most of my projects!! (The rub ons and the Wonderlust, wood veneer arrows.) There's a cute little wood veneer heart from Studio Calico too!

So that's it, a simple, clean layout from me this month. I love the way my style changes to suit each collection, this one is perfect for it, and would also be great for project life scrapping. Hope you find time to check it out in the store, I have linked the products in the description! And I do hope you will find time to play along with our moodboard or sketch this month. Kylie has some fabulous prizes up for grabs!!

Art Journal Cover

Hi everyone,
Today I am sharing an art journal cover using some cool techniques!
I covered my art journal front cover with Liquitex clear Gesso - which, when dry leaves a rough grainy finish!  Next I used this amazing Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam - Peach Bellini - wow this is amazing for those of you who love Mixed Media - the colour is intense! Next I used the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Purple Passion! Ooh La La it is a beautifully rich deep colour that glides over the Liquitex Clear Gesso.  I used the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Purple Passion to colour my chipboard letter a r t  I was extremely happy with the result!  I used Heidi Swapp gold texture Paste (another new found fave from our wonderful shop)

Until next time, happy crafting!

Love

Sisters - With Karyn!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page of my 2 girls made using the Pebbles "Spring Fling" paper and sticker collection - All available at Scrapping Clearly.
The layout of my page is inspired by Project Life Pages using 3"x3" pockets. I've made a few pages like this and love them. It is a great way to use lots of little photographs.
Each patterned paper square is cut 7cm x 7xm and the photos are 5cm x 5cm (cut leaving a white border). I've  decorated the squares with elements cut from the patterned papers and stickers.
A few wood veneer or enamel dots are perfect finishing touches.
I've used some fabulous large gold thickers for the title.

Scrapping Clearly products I've used include

Pebbles "Spring Fling" paper collection Pebbles "Spring Fling" stickers
Pebbles "Spring Fling" gold thickers

All of my photos have been printed on an Epson XP-600

Thanks so much for stopping by
