Do You Pre-Make?

Good Morning Arty Peeps!

Hope you are well and hugging your loved ones.
A couple of weeks ago I shared the beginnings of a mini album which I planned to use to document all the pics I have with the beautiful ladies I retreat with.
I have been working on this project, finishing the cover off with a title, some stickers, a couple of punched butterflies, and two Cocoa Vanilla chippy frames which I sprayed with Dylusions. I also stamped with some heart-shaped bubble wrap, so cute!

Then I got busy pre-making backgrounds for some of the pages.
This makes the album so much quicker to put together.

I stuck facing pages to my mat with washi tape and painted across them together, that's how I got the white stripes. I also used some pre-made cardstock backgrounds to stick to the backs of the painted pages as they buckled and warped when I wet them. Now they are twice as sturdy.

The acrylic paints (top and bottom) come in a set together.
The middle pages are done with ink sprays.

Next task is to put some photos together and journal and embellish.
Stay tuned for that!

Hope you are managing some crafty time in your days.
Perhaps you are playing along with our sketch or moodboard challenges?

Til next time,
stay arty,
