Fun with Ephemera

Cocoa Vanilla New Boys Rule.

Believe it or not I use to hate Ephemera packs, I found it hard to make all the little bits work or be relevant to the layout.
Now I go for all the supporting accessories more than the papers as you get heaps out of them and you can use them on plain card stock.

Please keep an eye out in the shop for this new range under the Cocoa Vanilla tag.

I took a sheet of the boys rule pattern paper called Messed Up and I added some texture to the background with modelling paste through a template. (tim Holtz #104)

I then added some stamping too with black archival ink and some textured background stamps. (not sure of these brands)

I rubbed some Distress Ink Hickory smoke, lightly over the dried texture paste to highlight it more from the background.

I played around with the first layer of ephemera and then taped or glued them down.

I then added the photo and finished off with more bits and bob.
All these pieces are accessory packs and stickers that go with the new boy range from Cocoa Vanilla. As you see you can make it work for boys of all ages. This is Dad's 80th and he is with all his grandsons.

Thanks for looking
Tracey
