Love using the Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss Instragram 4x4 card transparency, its perfect to use in your negative space in your photo without taking anything away from the photo.

Who doesnt love gold? These Studio Calico Lemonlust Doilies are stunning and great value with 3 different sizes in one pack, so why dont you grab some for your next project? They are in store now!!!

Wonderful you

Wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful is going to happen! It's bright and early Monday morning and it's a public holiday and the start of our School holidays.
So I should be sleeping in right? Well I don't mind getting up early and I am happy I don't have the morning school rush. I am looking forward to spending time scrapbooking in my pjs!

I have enjoyed using this range to create with and I have challenged myself to continue using the remaining pieces in this collection as there is a generous amount of embellishments that go together. I am the happiest taking candid photos in my day. These photos just happened recently one afternoon and it couldn't have been more perfect. Don't you just love that!

The photo overlays are all gorgeous. Visit here to find these goodies.

Close up of my cluster using a doily, stickers, chipboard pieces and enamel dot.

Here is a close up of the Wonderful You overlay that I stitched together on top of my photo around all sides to add interest and to help secure them together easily.

Project MY LIFE MY WAY

Hey hey hey!

Thanks for checking in :) First up, I have to say - PLEASE forgive the quality of my photos for this post! I seem to have caught some sort of moonbugs/flu/virus and standing on a chair to take photos made my head spin. Feeling very ordinary this week but I still managed some time to scrap a little, just to finish off these layouts for this weeks post.

I have 2 different layouts to share this week, trying to play in my stash a little more (sometimes I think we can all get lost in what is current and forget what fun stuff is tucked away).

This layout was created using a standard Design A Project Life sleeve. I really enjoyed playing with some of the older stuff in my kit and surprised myself with how many items I actually used. I have included the links for as many as I can below! The cards I used in this layout are from a cut apart in one of the Heidi Swapp 12x12 paper pads.

Next up, just a little something I threw together because I was really happy to be playing in the Heidi goodness!

This layout was created in a Design P sleeve that I actually cut down. I will explain more on this in the coming posts, but basically cutting a sleeve down can make or break a layout some times. In this case, I had other photos, but using them would not have added any more interest to the layout :)

I used a mix of Heidi Swapp products in this layout and I was really happy with how it turned out - the products are listed below, with links back to the store!

I learnt something about myself scrapping this week - I am a far more adventurous Project MY LIFEr than I am a scrapbooker! When I started out scrapping, the thought of tearing pretty paper made me break out in a cold sweat, and now there is rarely a layout where I haven't cut up (butchered/destroyed) a journal card! As Rikki would say, that's 'personal growth' lol

What's happening in your Project Life adventures?

So Pretty

Good Morning Rikki here today to share some transparency love!!! I am sure many of you like myself love a good transparent sheet of paper but struggle whether with ideas or should I use it all or will I hoard it because its beautiful.....

Just a handy tip Pink Paislee they have a plastic protection layer on it, dont do what I did and stick everything down (yes and sewn it down) and realize that ohhhhhh you can peel it off !!!!!

Something nice to do is make a shaker box with a transparency from the Instagram 4x4 cards, just grab your sewing machine and stitch it on....

September Mood board

Hello everyone, it's Michelle this is my layout inspired by September's mood board. I really think mood boards are great, they are more open to personal interpretation which makes them very inspiring. I can't wait to see what everyone creates, especially since there is a $20 voucher up for grabs!
If you know me you'll know I have always been near the beach and love to spend lots of hours there with my family. So the colours really inspired me in this challenge as it has a summer nautical theme and I wanted to keep it beachy.
This year is moving along so fast and it will be summer again before we know it!

My title is a wood veneer from Teresa Collins Something Wonderful collection.

A close up of the white embossed stamped flowers background with Heidi Swapp Navy Color Shine. I used a paint brush and water to help spread the Color Shine like a water colour.

I used a combination of white embossed stamped flowers on the background, stamped black ink flowers on sticky backed canvas to add layers to the photo and a metal flower charm. Twine and muslin was added under the photo layer to add texture and mimic the rope in the mood board.

Teresa Collins Something Wonderful Wood pieces found here

Have a great creative week.
