Hi everyone - Amy here today!
I'm sharing my take on this month's gorgeous Christmassy Moodboard.
I just love the non-traditional rustic theme used in this Moodboard.
For both of these tags, I painted Dina Wakley Media Heavy Body Acrylic in 'Elephant' onto white cardstock. I used a wood paneled stamping block from my stash and stamped it with Stazon ink in 'Jet Black'.
I hand cut the two tags and adhered them onto cardboard.
With this tag, I mixed some Dina Wakley modelling paste with gold acrylic paint and applied it using a star stencil.
Once dried, I splattered the background with Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Spray in 'Bling'. I painted some scrap music paper (from the Op Shop) from my stash, with Dina Wakley Heavy Body Paint in 'Turquoise'. Next, I die-cut it, in the shape of a Christmas tree.
For the second tag, I prepared the background similarly to the first one. However I deliberately did not use as much paint for the Christmas tree.
For both of the tags, I used a variety of goodies from the store to embellish them: Cocoa Vanilla sequins, Kaisercraft paper flowers, and Fancy Pants Designs- Merry and Bright Collection - Christmas - Ephemera.
To add some more dimension and texture to the tags, I used some natural twine, medical gauze, thread and strips of cardboard from my stash.
It was great fun making these tags. We here at Scrapping Clearly headquarters look forward to seeing your entries on this month's Moodboard! Remember it can be cards, tags, a journal page, or a traditional scrap page.
Here are some more close-ups.
Thanks for popping by! Ciao, Amy
