How Often Do You Go Outside Your Crafting Comfort Zone?

 Good Morning Arty peeps!
I hope your Winter is going well and you are crafting away while keeping snug and warm.

I have been playing with the July Moodboard challenge, such fun!
I would not normally use these colours together but totally love how this turned out. Challenges are so good for pushing those comfort zones, right?!

As you can see I have created my background with Tim Holtz Distress Oxides again, simply cannot get enough of these and am chomping at the bit to get my hands on the new colours. Because I get it nice and wet I use heavy weight cardstock so it doesn't warp.

I also used his hashtag stamps and  archival ink to make this little embellishment, and coloured some frames with purple Dylusions paint to go under my pic. These paints come in the most vibrant colours! My title is made up of a Cocoa Vanilla wood veneer word and Pink Paislee acrylic alpha stapled on.

I coloured the wood veneer heart and stamped embellishment card with Dylusions spray ink in Fresh Lime to match the moodboard colour palette, and added a super cute paper clip attached with wet glue.

Here's the moodboard, so many different things to inspire you. I went with the colours but you could do use the knitting, fireworks, Darwin's Beercan Regatta, maps..... so many options! Hope you have fun with it and be sure to share your projects with us to be in the running for a $30 shop voucher.

Thanks for coming by,
'til next time,
