Art Journalling - Lots of Yummy Mixed Media Products from Scrapping Clearly

Hi Everyone

My turn up on the Blog today and I have been playing with some amazing goodies from our SHOP!

I tore strips of washi tape and taped them to the double page of my art journal, then I used this fab Dina Wakley gesso over the top of the tape.  I allowed this to dry then I went about using some Ranger Distress Paints - Faded Jeans randomly over the top of the washi tape.

Next I used some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Aquamarine - if you haven't tried this amazing medium - do yourself a favour - it has an amazing sheen and is a dream to use!!  I randomly placed it across the pages using an old credit card.  I also used some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Cornflower Blue - again swiping randomly using an old credit card.  When this was dry,  I randomly stamped these amazing 49 and Market Texture Stamps using black Ink  over the pages.

Next I stamped the "SHE" using the amazing Heidi Swapp Foam Alphabet Stamps - I used to own these a long time ago  and I am so pleased Heidi has has re-released these stamps.  They are so versatile and easy to use.

I outlined the "SHE" using Jane Davenport  MM Paint Over Pens, and used this gorgeous lady from Jane Davenport's Rubons Neutral collection.

For my journalling I used this fab fountain pen, again from Jane Davenport.

Next I used this gorgeous stencil from the amazing Lisa Oxley - I have had it in my stash for a while and it is my "go to" and fave at the moment.  I used the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Lilac - Lavender through this stencil and love the effect!  I outlined the raised Nuvo mousse with a Black Pilot Permaball Pen to give some extra depth.

I used the amazing Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers to add some more depth of colour to the blue around the edges of the pages.  These markers are just gorgeous and beautiful to work with.

I love that Scrapping Clearly has such an amazing variety of Mixed Media products - so go and check them out..

Until next time,
Happy Crafting!
