Morning to everyone I hope you have all had a wonderful week......
Thanks for stopping by the SC blog today I hope you enjoy my layout and it inspires you too create today or sometime over the weekend!
This layout is a bright and colourful layout which really depicts the fun Chelsea and her girlfriends
are having in this photo @ this time of the year it is party after party.
The background is of course created with the the vibrant Dylusions and water.
Create the background on white marshmallow cardstock with your chosen colours and set aside to dry.
Once dry add some texture using either texture paste, or here I have used Colour Blast Just Blue and a stencil.
I have also drizzled some black house paint randomly over the background, and again set aside to dry.
I added some random stamping with black ink and some washi tape for more depth and texture.
I have used some leftover, previously sprayed, Marshmallow to create stamped flowers,
and have adhered them with foam dots for extra dimension.
I have used Colour Blast with a stencil also on these pieces.
I have used the above Prima Bloom Floral Stamp. Lisa has introduced many to this stamp
which she used in a popular class she has taught Australia wide.
I love its versatility...... a must have :)
The next step is to layer up even more dimension and texture by using tissue paper and gauze,
some black thread, and Gyprock tape. I collect tissue paper.
Every time I make a purchase and its wrapped in tissue paper, its a bonus,
you can score some really cool colours and prints.
Adhere all the layers down and place your photo (which I have matted with black cardstock) on top,
including your flowers, once dry.
To finish the layout out off I have painted a chipboard circle black
and adhered on top of the photo to act as a frame.....
The title is Me & My Big Ideas chipboard stickers and random words, also matted with black cardstock.
I hope you can take some inspiration from my layout.
Enjoy your weekend and I will be sharing again in the New Year .....
