More moodboard love

Welcome to another fabulous weekend... whether it be summer or winter in your area I hope you are embracing each and every moment and making the most of doing the things you love with your nearest and dearest. Remember to capture all those memories so you can create a living memory from them... it is such a beautiful thing to reflect back on. My layout today is called Smile Birthday Girl. It's a pic of my beautiful daughter on one of her many birthdays, it was the happiness that was captured with her dad in the photo that brings me such joy.

I chose some awesome Dina Wakley stamps and a crown stamp from my ever growing stamp stash and stamped in three places on my 12x12 Studio Calico cardstock - Adirondack Ink is a great ink to use when stamping as it is a permanent ink.

I then gathered a few pre- printed tags and a large manilla tag and layered them on the layout with some muslin & filigree die cuts.

To give the layout dimension I added dimensional tape to various pieces when layering, such as the smile title. After it was coloured with the Artline marker I added the tape and then adhered it to the layout. I also added the foam tape to the photo.

Next came the paper flowers and enamel dots. As well as using the dots on the layout I also used them in the centers of the flowers. I also embellished the layout with some extra words in gold foil.

To complete the layout I went around the photo with a black Artline pen and punched the top left corner with a binder punch.  Don't forget there is still lots of time to create using  the moodboard as your inspiration & once uploaded to the Facebook page you have a chance to win a $30 store voucher. Enjoy your weekend where ever you may be and don't forget to get messy and create some fabulous memories.
