Mellow Yellow

I have used our beautiful moodboard as inspiration for this layout.

Feeling Mellow Yellow

My wonderful Boss took all the shop girls out for a High Tea at the Hunter Valley as a thank you to us. I was in heaven.

This is the sweet tray. The savoury one was equally devine.

You will need

Yellow flowers

Yellow and Black Pattern papers

light and fluffy

2 stencils of your choice

liquitex yellow orange ink

Art Anthology Glorious Spray colour

Gold Heidi words

Black Distress Ink

Sponge Applicator Round.

First put some light and fluffy modelling paste through 1 of your stencils. Let dry.

Spritz lighlty with some water and spray on Anthology glorious. Let Dry.

Using the dropper from the bottle of liquitex ink randomly splat some colour over your texture. Spritz with some water to disperse. Let dry.

I then took my second stencils and added some black ink through it with a foam applicator, just to give a little pop to the background.

I matted the feature photo in some black print and cut three banners in co ordinating print. I distressed the edges with my scissors.

I coloured 2 pieces of medical guaze in the 2 yellow paint colours that I used, let them dry. These I used under the main flower cluster with some yellow cotton thread too.

The main photo is raised using foam tape and the supporting photos are just taped to the pattern papers.

I added a couple of flairs I found and the title.
