Hi everyone
Today I am back with a simple layout using paint, stamps and manual type written journalling.
Sometimes we don't need too much on our pages to make an impact.
Sometimes we don't need too much on our pages to make an impact.
I have used the gorgeous Dina Wakley Homage to Frida stamps - oh they are gorgeous!
I have also used Dina Wakley heavy body metallic acrylic paint - Marine and Peacock - my "go to" paints they are thick and rich!
I started off by swiping a bit of each colour down the left hand side of my page, and a little on the lower right hand side - the messier the better I say! When this paint was dry, I stamped the floral and heart stamps from the Homage to Frida stamps randomly over the top of the paint in both areas.
Next I stamped "Make Your Mark" to the main paint area on the bottom right and also to the paint area on the lower right side of the page in two places. I then stamped the smaller Frida image over the top of the lower right hand side of the page.
I used my manual typewriter to type my text and adhered it around the page.
I finished off doodling around the edges of the layout.
I decided not to put a title on my page as I felt the journalling and the photo says it all!
I hope you will try paint stamp and doodling soon!
Until next time,
Keep crafting and try something new!
Love
Marellex
