Bright and colourful handmade cards

Hi Everyone!

I am here with a share today with some bright, colourful and fun handmade cards. It warms the heart and brightens anyone's day when they receive a handmade card.

I have created these four cards with the fun Fancy Pants Designs - Joy Parade Collection - 12 x 12 Collection Kits from the store. This is one awesome kit that consists of patterned papers, a foam glitter alpha sticker sheet and one puffy stickers sheet set. I also used American Crafts Thickers.

For each of these cards, I used various goodies form the kit and I also hand-punched, diecut some shapes, using the bright patterned papers from the kit. The paper doily and the stamped sentiment are from my stash.

After putting together these simple and easy cards, I had a lot left over from this kit collection, which will allow me ample to make more cards or another form of paper craft project that might take my fancy in the future.

Here are some close ups:

It was making these cards and the bonus is that I now have a few more cards ready for that special occasion - kits are available in store here!

Thanks for stopping by!

Ciao, Amy

Cards From Leftovers - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies,

It's Karyn here,
and today I have some more cards to share with you made with papers from the Bella Bllvd Illustrated Faith Bright and Brave collection and Heidi Swapp Embellishments - all available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

I started with a sheet of white cardstock and cut 2 card bases to give a final card size of 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Then I added a mat of Typed paper to the front of each card.

Next I used some feather dies to cut a heap of feather shapes from offcuts from various papers in the Illustrated Faith Bold and Bright collection kit. I used my Big Shot to do this but you could use a Cameo if you have one or you could cut them out by hand. I then layered these feathers over a Heidi Swapp Dreamy glitter paper frame. Lastly I created some rolled paper flowers from more paper offcuts and added these to the cards in addition to a Heidi Swapp bow embellishment.

Birthday Cards - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!

It's Karyn here,
and today I have 2 cards to share made with papers from the Bella Bllvd Illustrated Faith Bright and Brave collection and Heidi Swapp Embellishments - all available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

The card bases are 6" x 6" and made from white cardstock. I added a layer of Illustrated Faith Bible Journalling paper (text) and a layer of Illustrated Faith Count the Ways paper (coloured polka dots). Then added some Heidi Swapp glitter tags, a Heidi Swapp bow embellishment, some Heidi Swapp glitter alphas, Heidi Swapp puffy number stickers, and a handmade sequin pocket.

I made the sequin pocket by sewing 2 pieces of plastic (from pocket page protectors), leaving a small opening to insert the sequins (from the Teresa Collins Daily Stories collection) then sewing the hole closed. The heart was trickier to do - I marked the shape with a pencil first but it was very hard to see on the plastic and it was very slippery to sew - still, I like the rustic look. This is a great way to use up sequins and I love the look!

For the next card I used a layer of Illustrated Faith Bible Journaling paper (stripes) then attached a strip of the reverse text side to the bottom half of the card. I added more Heidi Swapp glitter tags, some Heidi Swapp glitter alphas, a Heidi Swapp glitter wood veneer word, and a handmade heart sequin pocket.

Here is a close up of the sentiment.
