Bright and colourful handmade cards

Hi Everyone!

I am here with a share today with some bright, colourful and fun handmade cards. It warms the heart and brightens anyone's day when they receive a handmade card.

I have created these four cards with the fun Fancy Pants Designs - Joy Parade Collection - 12 x 12 Collection Kits from the store. This is one awesome kit that consists of patterned papers, a foam glitter alpha sticker sheet and one puffy stickers sheet set. I also used American Crafts Thickers.

For each of these cards, I used various goodies form the kit and I also hand-punched, diecut some shapes, using the bright patterned papers from the kit. The paper doily and the stamped sentiment are from my stash.

After putting together these simple and easy cards, I had a lot left over from this kit collection, which will allow me ample to make more cards or another form of paper craft project that might take my fancy in the future.

Here are some close ups:

It was making these cards and the bonus is that I now have a few more cards ready for that special occasion - kits are available in store here!

Thanks for stopping by!

Ciao, Amy

Love at Lanach by Lauren Hender

Hi Everyone!
Welcome back to the Scrapping Clearly blog.
I hope your week has been fabulous and are ready to be inspired by some beautiful products.
In this layout I used a photo of myself and my husband on a night away from the kids. We stayed in a beautiful castle called Lanach castle just outside Dunedin, New Zealand. It was so lovely just to have some time together is a beautiful location.

In this layout I have used the beautiful Pink Paislee Moonstruck Collection
This collection is stunning with deep pinks, navy and gold.

I began this layout by cutting down the pink base sheet and adhering it to the navy moon cardstock. I then bent up the edges of the top pink sheet and adhered some of the reverse side of the left over strips to the sides of the layout.

I then mounted my photo and built the photo cluster you see above. I also fussy cut a couple of butterflies from the navy butterflies cardstock.

I then added some cute embellishment clusters above and below the photo, and finished this side with some splashes of gold Heidi Swapp color shine.

I then created a moonstruck cluster on the left hand side of the page. This is kind of my featured title and I think it looks great all clustered tightly together.

I hope my layout has inspired you to get creative with the moonstruck collection available in the Scrapping Clearly store.

Happy Easter Cards by Tania

Hello everyone!! Wishing you all a big Happy Easter!!! Hope you are finding lots of time to scrap and have fun over this weekend. I let hubby go camping on his own, so I could catch up on quite a few craft projects, and just rest!!! So here is one of a few projects I've accomplished since yesterday!

I played along with our mood board this month, which was very Autumny!!! I love the colours, and I had some left over Fancy Pants- Golden Days papers, which were the perfect colours.

In addition to the papers, I used a few Mixed Media Products, which are fairly new to the Scrappingclearly Store! (Acrylic Paints & Art Crayons by Vicki Boutin). The Art Crayons were used with a water brush to colour my bird stamps..(also from the store here.) The white Art Crayon is awesome for adding highlights after you have coloured, they are so smooth, much like pastels!

Kylie also sent me some Nuvo, Gilding Flakes, in Sun-kissed Copper, which I was rather excited about. I just added some glue with a glue stick, and added the flakes with a small paint brush, wow, these flakes are awesome and add a lovely, shiny layer to the cards. A handy mixed media item to have in your stash!!!

I mixed a bit of water with the Art Crayons to add the splatters of colour on the background here, and I discovered that the Acrylic paints by Vicki Boutin, are lovely and thick with a squirt top, so I added some paint dots on my cards.

My cute little tag, uses the Golden Days paper and Puffy Stickers, and a few bits and bobs from the ephemera pack...how handy was it that there was a cute little bunny in there!!!

I hope you like my card & tag set and it motivates you to try and use some subtle mixed media on your cards. Enjoy the weekend!!!

Love this Boy layout by Tania

Hi there friends!!! I'm back with you today, with my take on the Feb sketch, you still have until midnight tonight, if you wish to play along!!!! Check it out below!!!

Now, I know I've mentioned this before, but I am a huge fan of the Golden Days collection by Fancy Pants!!! Seriously, what a great kit, the colours are something I would not normally go for myself, so it has been very refreshing moving away from my comfort zone and having the opportunity to scrap another boy page!!!

Look at these adorable, puffy stickers from the collection, love the gold ones!!! (Which have some cool words you can use in your titles!)
I cut a few little arrow pieces out as extra embellishments!

I'm also a fan of the large paper alphas, I really don't use enough of all the alphabet stickers and thickers I have. This kit makes it all so easy when even the alphas match the papers!!!

And there you have the complete layout. The only extras I used from my stash were: cardstock, the negative of a large die cut heart I did on my Silhouette Machine, some paper punches, ink and tiny alphas.
Everything else is from the Scrappingclearly store listed below!!!

Thanks for looking and don't forget to keep an eye on our Community Facebook page to check out all the other entries for this month's challenges, and upload your own if you have time to play!!!

My Tribe layout, using Fancy Pants Golden Days collection, by Tania

Hello lovely scrappers! Today I'm here to share another layout using this gorgeous, Fancy Pants collection- Golden Days. I love it so much!!! I've managed to use about 8 of the different patterned papers on this one and some matching ephemera and embellishments, without too much pattern clash...(I hope!!)
I've used this month's moodboard for inspiration! Here it is here:

And here's my layout!!

I love all the different elements in the ephemera pack, there's some gold embellishments in there, which match perfectly with the Puffy stickers, and the gold, acetate words, the paper clips too!!! (The paper clip is holding my hidden journaling behind the photo!!!

The gold arrowheads are awesome for adding another focal point on your page, and when I wanted to tie it all together, I added a few of the gold hearts from the puffy sticker pack. There's also some numbers from the Paper alphabet pack.

This layout came together in a few hours, (that was including getting dinner in between!!) That's what I love about having matching bits from a complete range, it comes together quite easily, without too much thinking.

Here is a list of the products used, all from the Scrappingclearly store.

Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you find time to play along wtih our challenges this month!!!
Be sure to upload them over on our Community Facebook Page to be in the running for a fab prize from the Scrappingclearly store.
See you next time,
Tania
