Hello fellow creatives. I hope your Saturday finds you elbows deep in creative goodness. I am still channelling June's moodboard and have concentrated on the fabulous rich green tones with my layout today.
My favourite way to start with is a sheet of white cardstock & to this I have added the lush green watercolours of Lindys flat magicals-evergreen emerald & Colourburst - turquoise. I have used the kiss process by adding my watercolour to plastic and then letting this touch the paper to leave its beautiful kiss.
Next part of the process was to pick out this fab stencil from Um WOW studio - fish eyes. I used white modelling paste and added this to the page. You can find a great range of this over in the shop.
I mixed a little of the turquoise water colour to some modelling paste also before adding it to the page. For the photo stack I have used some of the left over Vicki Boutin papers from my layout last week as the browns worked in beautifully with the raw chipboard from The Dusty Attic light bulbs.
I have used stamps from Art by Marlene - mandala tapestry. I have also used a script and ledger stamp from my stash. You can find many of these over in the shop - Finnabair, Tim Holtz all have a great range. I have left the chipboard raw to bring in the warm of the browns and have added some metal cogs and a metal lightbulb also to help link the the elements of the page together with the photo. The Tim Holtz idea-ology range has a couple of sets of cogs that work in beautifully when creating with metals on your pages.
The title was created using a combination of fonts from Thickers - reindeer & Cocoa Vanilla- awesome. I have used glossy accents on the Cocoa Vanilla sticker font. To the photo I have adhered a small talk phrase sticker from the Tim Holtz idea-ology collection.
Thanks for popping in to have a look at my process. I hope you are enjoying this months moodboard. Don't forget to load up your creative share over on the Facebook Share & inspire group as we would love to see how you have embraced this months moodboard.
