Howdy Folks ,Lisa here with a little Scrapping Clearly Sunday mixed media goodness.
Today I am sharing a piece I created using the fabulous Dura-lar paintable plastic sheets and Carabelle stamps that I picked up when the talented Birgit Koopsen was in town.
Using Black Staz On ink I stamped images on to the Dura-lar,
then using a pinch of Dina Wakley acrylic paints I roughly painted the back of the clear plastic page, and left it to dry.
Here is how I layered this page together.
Sorry about the central placement there, when I film this way, it doesn't like me.
Starting in a Dylusions journal I prepped the page with gesso and using a Darkroom Door stencil with Dylusions paint in bubble gum pink and tangerine dream I created a simple background. a little extra scrap paper for interest and detail the page started to take shape.
for this piece I also used a black fudeball pen
Thanks a bunch for dropping by the Scrapping Clearly blog today,
I'll be back really soon, and Ill be one year older.
Lisa xxx
