 Hi everyone and happy crafting Tuesday.

Here's a sneak of a layout I created inspired again by this month's moodboard.

I don't know about you but I hate wasting supplies.... so whenever I have any left over product I add it to some paper or cardstock.   I usually have three or four of these going at the same time so depending on the colour, I can add it to a suitable piece.   As a result I often have the basis for a page without having to think about it!

That is how I started this layout.

It already had some Dina Wakley acrylic paint (Gilt) mixed with some impasto and scrapped through a Tim Holtz stencil.   I then had sprtitzed the stencil with water and stamped that onto the cardstock.

I then added some stamping using Viva Las Vegas Stamps with Memento Black ink and Wendy Vecchi Archival ink in Fern green. 

I then added some Liquitex Ink (transparent raw sienna) by rolling it on with a brayer.

 

I coated some chipboard from my stash with gesso and then sponged on some Distress inks (Black soot, Rusty Hinge & Crushed Olive) and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide and splashed with some drops of water.

Because the inks looked quite muted I gave them a coat of Crystal Effects for some shine and when still wet added some fibers so the Crystal Effects acted as a glue.   

The gorgeous gold fibers were left over from a class run by 13@arts Aida Domisiewicz for Scrapping Clearly.

I embossed some chipboard from my stash and added a couple of spiders (didn't have any bees so I went with spiders instead!   I love how a moodboard can take you in lots of different directions.)

Hi Everyone! Amy here with you today, sharing a page inspired by this month's Moodboard.

The photo here was taken on our recent trip to the southwest of Western Australia. A quaint rustic place we stayed in near Balingup - just love W.A!

Here is my design...

Once I had chosen my base sheet, I applied white gesso mixed with Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paint - Blushing. I also used the small Ranger Gel Press Brayer - this is one of my favourite 'go-to' tools ever!

Once dried, to provide texture, through a stencil, I applied Matisse Light Modelling Paste, in various areas. 

To break up the pink and white I added splatters of Art Alchemy paint in 'Red Wine' mixed with water.

After the base sheet was complete it was time to work on the layers behind the photo.

 

 

I was inspired by the lace fabric from the Moodboard - from my stash, I tore strips of sewing pattern and music sheets. I have placed it over a white lace doily from D-lish Scraps. I have wrapped rustic twine over the page horizontally. As pictured, you can see I carefully dipped my paper flowers in the Colour Blast Colour Spray - 'Love'.

On some more left over music paper, I smeared some more of the 'Love' Colour Blast Colour Spray and punched out a large love heart and placed it onto the page. I decorated the heart with enamel dots - My Minds Eye - Good Vibes Collection.

For the layers behind this photo I used some scraps of both the pattern and music sheets that I had painted with Dina Wakley in 'Blushing' mixed with white gesso. 

I stamped with a clear acrylic stamp from the Prima Finnabair Vintage Vanity Collection.

I have included a Heidi Swapp decorative tag here. I have stapled these layers together with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Tiny Attacher from the store. 

Finally, in this little cluster here I have used a metal flower from my stash with a pink enamel dot from My Mind's Eye - Good Vibes Collection. The title was hand die-cut by me.

It was really nice to be working with pink - I hope you get a chance to play along with the Moodboard this month.
