A short guide to love

Time is ever so precious and little moments and little photos are key. I captured this photo of my son and his Grandma - so very blessed to have captured this moment. It warms my heart as they both have such beautiful souls and warm hearts.

The Travellers notebook is a great way to capture those quick snaps and fond memories too. They make for great coffee table books and take up no room at all.

To complete the story of my photo I have used Gesso to whiten up the page and then added  Liquitex Matte Gel Medium through a TCW orange slice stencil. I have then used some Vicki Boutin art crayons to colour the page.

Time for a little contrasting - and I have used a script stamp to help add depth to the page.

I have then added a border by using my ALLS pencil and a little water to darken up the lines.

The left side was embellished using some project life cards, Heidi Swapp epoxy hearts, stamping, thickers & Kinder Kreations frame that was painted black. The right side was also embellished with Heidi Swapp but this time arrows, Kinder Kreations frames and stamping from my stash of 7 Gypsies stamps. I have also used an Artline silver pen around the outer edges of the KK frames and a little on the border to help highlight.

The finished product was a super cute entry into my Travellers Notebook that we all will have a little giggle at but adore all the same.

I hope you get to play along with this months moodboard - today is your last day to get your entry into the album over on the Facebook page.

Have a great weekend and have fun creating lots of precious memories.

Live A Curious Life - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Scrapping Clearly Lovelies!!

It's Karyn here, and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using various products available in the Scrapping Clearly Store

I created this for the recent Australia Day Cybercrop.

For my base I've used a sheet of  white cardstock and painted with Prima Watercolor Confections (colours that matched the layers of my photo). Once this was dry I added splatters of each colour as well.

I started decorating my page using paper from the Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice 12x12 paper pad . I used it to matt my photo and to add strips along the bottom of the page.

On the LHS of the photo I added a  Finnibair Mechanicals metal embellishment, diecuts, and Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice Ephemera

I also added some Nuvo Dream Drops in "Love potion". It is best to add these drops last then set your project aside to dry completely.

On the bottom of my page I added paper strips as well as another Finnibair Mechanicals embellishment, a diecut, tag, wood veneer, burlap, Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice Ephemera and Nuvo Dream Drops in "Love potion".

On the RHS of my photo I added more diecuts and wood veneer.

Thanks so much for stopping by
