Wind in my hair.......

Good morning Rikki here with my second November post!!!!! WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say, I am totally unprepared for my oldest turning 13 years old this month and dont even mention Christmas, is it too late to hide under the covers and pretend that this isnt happening?

Well while I sit in the corner, rocking myself I am going to share with you another layout using the stunning Pink Paislee Cedar Lane range. This time I  have paired it with a beach photo to prove it doesnt have to work just for Autumn/ Winter photos.... because lets face it Western Australia isn't really about leaves turning into those vibrant oranges, rich reds and earthy browns.....

So I had this stunning piece of leaf paper, leaves and leaves and more and of course that means fussy cuttin, I love this piece of pattern paper as it has the elegant shaped leave which also look like feathers (stay tuned...... ).

I must say there was something fun about using the sewing machine and going over all the leaves and sequins in free form.

Another cool thing about Pink Paislee is you can mix and match older ranges, here I have used the the charm from Bella Rouge, and some stickers from the Atlas range.

Dont have the right stickers? thats not a problem, grab a gold paint pen and custom your own alphas.

Dont forget our month Moodboard and Sketch Challenge, to go in the chance to win a $20 store voucher and yes thats $20 for each challenge!!!

Till next time have a creative day.

Project MY LIFE

Hey there,

Hope you are having a great week! I have been flat out with study and parenting and all that fun stuff, but I managed to sneak in a little tiny bit of scrapping. I completed a cover page of sorts for my personal album and using some of the gorgeous chipboard available now at Scrapping Clearly. http://www.scrappingclearly.com.au/shop/group/your-creative-wings-chipboard-feathers-on-a-stick-sml/ I love chipboard! I am not a big fan of any crazy bulk in my pocket spreads so chipboards works beautifully.

I added some colour with Dylusions sprays, some watercolour and a gold sharpie and that  pocket card was ready to go! The centre card has been left empty purposely, so that I can write a dedication of sorts to myself... or maybe a disclaimer in case anyone else reads it! I love the Dylusions, they are so easy to use and the colours are fantastic! I used Vibrant Turquoise and Crushed Grape http://www.scrappingclearly.com.au/shop/brand-ranger/dylusions-spray-vibrant-turquoise/

The layout came together and I love the way the chipboard embellishment turned out, not to mention I really enjoyed getting inky! Awesome Thickers add a little touch of bling too!

Would love to hear your feedback! What are you working on?
