Hello lovely peeps. I am up again on the blog with another post and this time using the new Luckyfindings 'guilded silence' images. Oh my!!!! You will be amazed how beautifully these are to work with in your art.
I start with gluing down my image and then working around with various paints to blend it into my art journal page. This helps the image not stand alone yet form into the background. A technique that I enjoy doing and like I said these images are perfect.
I used a doily stencil to mimic lace and extended out black and gold features from the image into my page. Stamped and stapled a sentiment from a DW stamp set onto some fabric to create some texture. Along with a subtle text stamp using some DW scribble sticks. Not to forget some gold splatters to finish off this page.
