Butterflies

 Hi everyone!!

Once again I have had a play with the Lucky Findings Foundations using the Butterfly Effect collection.

Here I created a simple page in my ScrapFx journal.  

Starting with some Paperartsy paint, Dina Wakley gloss sprays and used all the Butterfly Effect collection including base and rice paper, reinforcements, vellum and transparency.

I have used my typewriter to type my quote on the rice paper in this collection.  

Hoping I inspire you all to be creative.

Hi everyone,

Working with the Lucky Findings butterfly effect for the April Mood Affirmation. Once again I have used all the findings in this gorgeous pack.

Started with a base page from Paper Arts Bright and Beautiful 3 paper. Cut strips of the washi tape to create on an already busy background and love how this has come up.

Here are some close ups where you can see how I used the vellum, base paper and used the reinforcements to adhere my dimensional threads.

To create the title I used the clear part of the washi tape to write my quote and stapled these with the tiny attacher onto my page.

I painted the back of the transparency to colour the butterflies and used the postage stamps for dimension on my layout.

Paint Outside the Lines by Tracey B

 Hi everyone

another month and another gorgeous mood affirmation to inspire you.

I chose my photo and title based on the quote from the board - all about breaking the rules.

I tore a little rice paper from the Lucky Findings Butterfly Effect Foundation pack and taped it down.

I masked off a stencil and sponged on some paint brushes using Dina Wakley paint (Black, Eggplant, & Turquoise).   I then mixed some Heather paint with Light & Fluffy paste and scraped that through another stencil.   I was in a hurry so had a little bleed through the stencil but I'm Ok with that as it suited the page of painting outside the lines.   And I literally have a plane to catch and haven't started packing!

I finished by using some Vicki Boutin Print Shop ephemera and coloured some wood veneer alphas with a fuchsia Posca pen.
