Hmmm by Tracey B

 Hi everyone

More travel photos to share

Again I started with a waste-not page so not sure of the products but it looks like some distress ink and a little Art Anthology Sorbet (Butter Cream).   These are on special in the shop so go grab a bargain!

I trimmed the page and add it to some black card stock as I knew my embellishments were going to be heavy and I needed a bit more support.

I grabbed another piece of waste-not paper and die cut it.

I drew a circle and poked holes around it using my slightly dog chewed pokey tool and a mouse mat  and then stitched using embroidery floss.

Products I've used include

Distress ink (Black soot)
Dine Wakley stencil (Wheels)
Heidi Swapp jumbo tag

Lucky me by Tracey B

 hi everyone

This background was one of my waste not pages (where any left over product gets slapped onto a page) so my best guess is that it's probably Colour Blast shimmer dust in Lush.

I then added some Re-design Decor Transfers (Greenery House), some Theresa Collins Wanderlust chipboard, a Heidi Swapp acetate word, Seven Pages alphas and a vintage Heidi Swapp tag, some Prima flowers, brads, and embroidery floss from my stash.   Finished off with a little Heidi Swapp Old School washi tape (needs a little glue to keep it stuck down)

cheers

'Use Your Wings' By Emma Zappone

 Hi everyone.
Emma with you today, sharing a couple of Tags using the new ATELIER Foundations pack.
It features beautiful soft greens and is highly versatile.
I also have a video of these coming together, so grab a cuppa and enjoy the process.

This pack went beautifully with other products, like some of the 49&Market Rubons.

The tags feature a few resin pieces from the new mould sets by Finnabair
And these are painted with Dina Wakley and Art By Marlene Acrylic paints.
Finished off with a couple of different waxes too.

I loved adding the birds which are a rubon from Finnabair transfer sheets. I rubbed them onto a little bit of the transperancy sheet in the pack which made it super easy to fussy cut around.

I managed to use quite a variety of the sheets in the pack including the beautiful rice paper onto some white cardstock to add more dimension on the tags.

I do hope you get the chance to watch the video to really see how it all unfolds and ties into together.
Check it out here....

Until next time, Stay Crafty, Em xx

Repeat by Tracey B

 Hi everyone

I've been away from my craft desk for a month tripping around the countryside so I needed a quickie layout.   I started with some Vicki Boutin patterned paper where pretty much all of the mixed media work has already been done for you!   I don't think of it as cheating - rather an effective use of my time!

I cut a large star from chipboard and give it and a couple of other chipboard starts from my stash a couple of coats of Dina Wakley paint (Lapis and Tangerine)

I drew a circle on the back of my page and used a pokey tool and a mouse pad to poke some holes around it.   I then stitched through the holes using blue and orange embroidery floss.   (I find it much easier on my fingers to poke my holes first rather than just use a needle)

Then all I had to do was matt my photo and add some clusters of embellishments and stickers including
Ribbon
Flair
Star stickers (these were nearly antiques - left over from a star chart for Paddy when he was at kinder!)

And here's the finished page

Enjoy your week,

cheers

Tracey

Play the Hand created by Tracey Thorne

Have you heard about the new release product by LuckyFindings and exclusive to Scrapping Clearly

OMGosh - 30 different foundation packs to choose from with amazing designs on different substrates. These packs are just amazing - I have got to play with two of the packs so far - Bubbalicious & Sherbet. I am just about to crack open and create with Breezy Vista. These packs fill the gap for many Arty creatives from mixed media, card, scrapbooking, journalling and collage fields - they are a great starting point to get your creative energy inspired.

Today I wanted to share with you a scrapbooking layout I have created using the Bubbalicious foundations in conjunction with Prima Finnabair moulds

I have started by adding watercolour to the page by adding some Avery Elle Cherry to plastic and kissing the page. I have then used a fine paint brush and added splatters of the same colour.

I have torn strips from the design paper, rice paper marks and glued them down across the page. I have then sewn over these in the center of each one.

The photo was mounted on base one of the bubbalicious foundations range and then mounted on black cardstock.

The frames were prepared by painting black. I have then used Prima Art Alchemy Wax in silver and rubbed over them generously to have the intricacies stand out. Pattern Vellum from the Bubbalicious range was then cut and adhered to the back of the frames. I have then cut out a few of the stamps from the Bubbalicious rice paper stamps sheet. These were adhered to the top of the vellum.

After working out placement of all the elements and before adhering I went through and stamped in different places with Adirondack black ink and a few background Prima stamps.

I finished the page by typing out the quote and mixing it with some chipboard alphas. The final touch was to sew a border around the outer edge.

I can't wait to create with a more of these Lucky Findings Foundation packs - they are amazing and so versatile. They are exclusive to Scrapping Clearly so go check them out as they are being slowly released over the coming days.
Thanks for popping by - Have a fantastic weekend.
