More ATCs by Tracey B

 Good morning everyone,

how did you all go with the Australia Day crop challenges?   Hope you found time to get your craft on.

I finished off a couple of ATCs for this month: Water colour and Texture

For this ATC I firstly used some water colour paper and masked off using some skinning washi tape.

I dropped on some Kuretake water colours (wet on dry), fussy cut a Lucky Findings Artist Trading Collective Harlequin image and added some tulle, ribbon and beads.   Simples.

Products I've used include
Ink and a stencil

Tissue paper

Washi Tape

I sewed on some ribbon and then covered some of it with ink mixed with 13 @rts texture powder through a stencil

Impasto through another stencil

And then added my focal point: an image from Lucky Findings Artist Trading Collective - Painty Frida with a die cut flower and some threads behind and mounted on some thick cardboard for dimension.

If you haven't already done so, check out all the new Artist Trading Collective images.   There's something for everyone and they make creating super easy.

TFL

cheers

'Secret To Everyday Things' with Emma Zappone

Welcome!
Em with you all today 💛

To say that I love the Lucky Findings Imagery Sheets would be an understatement. These sheets of  inspiration are just perfect for any project you wish to create. Here I used the 'Map To Beauty' images.

This canvas has been created with a variety of Rub-ons and Tim Holtz products.
The colour tones are so very me and these images just spoke to me as soon as I saw them.

I kept my usual multi dimension layering to a minimum, which was very freeing. I feel this might be my way of creating this year.

So many options to tell a story.

I hope this brings a little inspiration to your day.

Em xx

Luckyfindings Imagery - Nightbird created by Tracey Thorne

Hello Arty Friends

I have finally cracked my drought and had the opportunity to have a play with the new Luckyfindings Imagery. Oh my they are amazing - the images are inspiring and so easy to create with.

I have used one of the owl images from the Nightbird Imagery Sheet. I found it was easy to put together and quite inspirational as a 12x12 layout. I used up some older printed paper and a lot of die-cuts I have had sitting in a drawer.

Some beautiful blue ink was splattered on the background to compliment the image colours before adding the spotty pink paper and some coffee coloured vellum.

I have complimented the page by using two resin pieces that have been painted using Sennelier gold ink. I have also added a little teal paint and rubbed back to leave a patina look. I have complimented the bottom resin piece with a Tim Holtz quote sticker. Another was used on the photo also.

I hope you find my new arty creation inspirational too.

I hope you get an opportunity to create with these amazing images available instore now. The Nightbird series is available as Imagery as well as the new Artist Trading Collectives.

Until the next creation - have a fabulous week

Tracey Thorne

Hello everyone,

Last year, we did 52 non-swap ATC weekly prompts.  And for 2025, we will do it all over again!

Weekly ATC Prompts

Every Monday at 9am, we will release a unique ATC prompt. This is a NO-SWAP ATC project. This allows you to create your own mini artworks to keep as your own project. By the end of 2025, you will have your own collection of 52 ATCs that incorporated the weekly theme or technique.

Take photos of your projects and share them in our  Scrapping Clearly Share and Inspire Facebook Group. Make sure you add them the current month's Prize Draw album, and also add a caption to the photo so we know what prompt you used!

Here is a list of the current prompts.

New Product alert!

Kylie has designed us some Lucky Findings Imagery that is simply PERFECT for our mini ATC projects.
She calls them Artist Trading Collectives and they are available NOW on the website.

Find them >>>>>> HERE.

Ideas for your storing ATC projects:

1. Add your mini-projects to a Junque Journal.

And here is how Amanda's Junque Journal turned out in 2024, with all the ATC prompts used to fill the book!

2.  Stitch your cards together

Inspired by the Kylie and Tracey's 2024 Junque Art Book Kits (which you can still get: https://scrappingclearly.com.au/product-category/luckyfindings/junque-art-book-kits/), Amanda was inspired to stitch an ATC card project together. Cards stuck back to back and joined to the next set with a slim panel of fabric, and machine stitched.

3. Store them in a nice box

In 2024, paper crafter Amanda Moran, shared her box of ATCs from the 2024 prompts in our Facebook group.

4. Add them to a journal

You can also add your ATCs to a journal or small book. Kylie has many in store to choose from: https://scrappingclearly.com.au/product-category/journals-albums/

Amanda and Rosi over in our Facebook Group shared their plans to use a journal this year!

5. Make a Tunnel book!

Please share with us how you plan to store your ATCs!
