PROJECT MY LIFE!

Hey hey hey!

If you are a regular reader, you may have noticed I didn't post last week... feels like everything here has been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster, kids stuff, ex stuff and my own stuff - needless to say, my creative mojo went AWOL. It made it a looooong week too, this little creative hobby we all share is so therapeutic!

Anyway, here is a little share this week, along with some details about the upcoming cyber crop!

I was able to set a challenge to participate in the Cyber Crop being hosted online by Scrapping Clearly, and I have to say, I was stumped! I had a million ideas and then had to try and figure which was the best! The more I journey along with PROJECT MY LIFE, the more fascinated I become. So I set a challenge for everyone to 'CUT IT UP'. I set to work cutting up journaling cards and using the elements in hope of making some more personalised cards for my pocket layouts.
Add some sequins and some details in the journaling pocket and looks pretty good to go! I have used a selection items and they can all be found in the best ever scrapbooking store over at www.scrappingclearly.com.au We have some great challenges planned for the Cyber Crop, and would love you to pop in and join us! There are some cool prizes to be won for entering your layouts! Details are available here, https://www.facebook.com/events/1507252866263055/ hope to see you there!
Thanks for stopping by :)

You and me

Good morning Rikki here with another post using the concept of flip books on a layout. This one is based on this months Scrapping clearly's sketch challenge which you still have a couple of days to enter, to go into the running to win a $20 store voucher.

This weeks layout has a huge amount of photos as I often do photo sessions and have 100's of photos to choice from, I came to the conclusion that I wont be able to scrap all those photos a few feature ones and then I would have to move on... this way I get the best of both words and this layout can highlight the event.

The Sketch:

Nothing like layering your chipboard frames and pieces to make your own embellishment cluster.

Who doesn't love a bit of gold? This range definitely has that....

Not completely finished this page, Hubby is going to write something for the kids before it goes into the album.

This is my favourite page working with loads of photos and the journal cards with the frames thrown in there as well, in a nice grid.

So I hope this has inspired you, also you still have a few days to enter the challenges to go into the chance to win a $20 Store Voucher.

Till next time, have a creative day.

Love Travel Adventure

Morning, it's a new week and my last share for this month! Yes, time is ticking away and there is so much going on in my life towards the end of the year. Is it the same for you?

I enjoyed this layout process going back in time to a holiday we had in Sydney. We feel it was a once in a lifetime holiday as a whole family because it was a very generous 40th Birthday gift to me from my Brother. The time we spent with his family made the best memories that will last a lifetime.

This WANDERlust  collection from Teresa Collins was perfect for Travel whether you are exploring the World or your local favourite spot. Have a look in the Scrapping Clearly shop for these goodies.

I enjoyed using mint coloured card stock  as the base with the black and white and gold.
A way to add colour instead of always using white card stock.

Wooden Globe which I love!! Was spray painted gold with my favourite gold spray paint.
Close up of the AC Thickers called Heirloom a colour popular at the moment, a coppery gold.
Brads in black and white with gold edges and machine stitches to add interest.

Have a lovely Monday and happy creating wherever you may be in your part of the World!!

October mood board - by Chloe

Hello again!  It's Chloe here to share my creation for the October Mood Board :)

I just love these colours together - orange and pink in particular are one of my fav colour combos :)

Here is my page:

I had a bit of fun painting mist onto the background - I actually made a spiral of sorts, but then covered most of it up!

I have used a lot of the Simple Stories Summer Vibes range - lots of oranges and reds in this range!

Other products used:
Maggie Holmes Crate Paper - Open Book Ephemera
Prima flowers
Sequins

Yourself.... with Simple Stories

Good Morning, Rikki here with another post using the Simple Stories - So Fancy range, and if you are a part of our Scrapping Clearly Community group you would have seen some sneaks of whats coming up and also how proud I am of this layout and my work this month.

Like last week this is another layout working on the interactive folder technique I used to do when I first started scrapping. Motivation for this idea when I first started was to see if it got better especially with all the products available. Now I have discovered that its a great way to do multiple photos and that the kids especially love that they can interact and discover little stories or details like a pop up book.

The sticker sheet in the set comes with a great amount of varied alphas that coordinate with the papers.

Twine is a perfect way to keep the folder all together. also you can cut up a frame to make yourself some photo corners.

Dont stick down your journal block all the way, you can get it to hold a tag for your journaling.

Use one of the chipboards to help draw your eye to the hidden journal card.

Hope this has inspired you to get creative with your layouts, if you do one like this share in the comments and I will leave you some love.

Till next time, have a creative day
