Introducing .........

Some exciting news for those who love to Project Life or those who are wanting to try...

We have add an  Project Lifer to the Design team - Ree Walker ( and she is kindly running our Instagram account too - https://instagram.com/scrappingclearly/)

Hey there! I am so excited to be joining the Scrapping Clearly design team - working with all these crazy talented ladies is such an exciting opportunity!

I have been scrapping for about 5 years after meeting some friends who were memory keeping crazies, and will admit - I didn't take many photos before I started. Definitely not the case now! I tried traditional scrapping but Project Life is where I found my groove and I love it!

Looking forward to sharing with everyone :)

You can see Ree's work on her blog, stop by and welcome her to the team.

Marquee Love

Morning everyone, Michelle here, I have a beautiful Marquee Love Ampersand light in my creative area that adds to the ambiance of my room. How good are these totally customised letters from Heidi Swapp.

I have often admired these cool letters in trendy store fronts and classy parties but thought I couldn't create that look for my room. Now I can have exactly what colours I want and it can be changed at anytime I like with total freedom. This may not stop at one I have plans to add more and use them in other rooms in my house, because why not!

They are so easy to put together with the well thought out diagram and instructions included in the box. The options are endless and there are so many lovely washi tapes, glitters and paper pads in the Scrapping Clearly store to create with. Please take a look they are gorgeous and can also be used for other projects.

I spray painted the entire ampersand with my favourite Gold paint and it took really well. I then added the gold glitter tape around the outside edges in one long strip starting underneath. With the tight inside corners I used a wooden skewer to smooth the tape into the corners that were hard to reach with your fingers.

The photos didn't do the glitter tape justice because it looks so pretty and sparkly in real life. I am so happy with how it turned out and how easy it was to make it my own. It looks classy and elegant with not much effort. Love it!

Happy creating today love Michelle xx

This Girl Loves Photos

Good morning, Rikki here with the my last post for August, wow time flies, we must be getting to the business end of the year, kinda scary !!! Right???? Anyway, scrapping waits for no time, and that is ever so true, especially when we are always trying to catch up with photos.

Sometimes the simplistic, is the way to go and you end up with a beautiful layout. The Chickaniddy range is really about that, designed with 365 in mind you can do a great layout quickly and effortlessly.

Using things from your stash is also a great thing, look for glassine bags, doilies and tags for instant layers.

Dont forget to keep your little strips that are on the bottom of the pattern papers, they make great titles and boarders.

Fuse tool

Morning everyone, Michelle here with my latest project life layouts using the wonderfully clever ''We R Memory keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse tool'' and you will find it in the Scrapping Clearly store here

You have probably heard about the fuse tool or seen a few demonstrations online. It changes your ability to customise your sleeves to almost any layout you would like and it's fun to think of different ways to use it. I am still new to project life and love to collect all the pretty cards so ONE day I will have my albums full of beautiful memories.

How grateful I am to have this tool to make my album unique and totally how I want my layouts to be.

I used a 12 x 12 sleeve and the Teresa Collins Studio Gold Albums made easy cards which can be purchased here. There is a picture of the cards at the end of this post. I first arranged my photos for both sides along with the Studio Gold cards because when it's fused together you need both sides completed at the same time.

This was my first time doing a whole layout this way so it took a while to figure the placement but I am so happy with the result. It was worth the planning and it will only get quicker once I use the fuse tool more. The shapes of my cards were odd so I needed to stick them with the same shape together to do both sides and it was manageable that way.

This is a close up of the front with the added glitter and foil gold stickers and chipboard embellishments by Heidi Swapp used with the Memory planner.I love the gold so much. The script word was cut out of gold foil using the Heidi Swapp ''Lovely'' Wanderlust metal dies. Have a look here for some more Heidi Swapp script word dies.

This is on the other side using the same Teresa Collins Studio Gold. That pretty glittery gold strip on the follow your heart card is from Heidi Swapp's Marquee love gold glitter tape.

Here is a close up of the clear sequins pocket. Gold Sequin from Studio Calico found here.

Have a beautiful creative day.

With all my Heart - August Moodboard

Good morning, Michelle here to share my inspiration today from this month's gorgeous mood board using the striking colours, pretty patterns and script verse.

What I love about challenges is that it helps me try something new and can push me out of my comfort zone. This layout helped me further with learning to use Ranger Dylusions mists in another way. I used a floral stencil from Tim Holtz collection with texture paste and added inks to create the drips on the background.

The whole process took some time and I thought at one point I may have to start over but I kept going and was happy with the results. The script title is stamped onto the background using Heidi Swapp's clear stamp with stazon ink.

I have added layers under my photo using frames from Heidi Swapp and a few flowers I had.

Please join us this month using this mood board as your inspiration. We would love to see what you create and there are great prizes up for grabs.

Thank you for supporting Scrapping Clearly.

Enjoy your day.
