Summer Days by Lauren Hender

Hello Everyone and BIG welcome to DECEMBER!

Oh my goodness, this time of year is so hectic but I LOVE IT!

I love everything about Christmas. The music, the food, the family, the shopping and even a little bubbles every now and then.

Are you are lover of Christmas or do you dread this time?

As the months are getting warmer and warmer here in Australia I thought I would share a layout with using the beautiful Endless Summer collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio found HERE in the Scrapping Clearly store.

I just love this collection.. and I have to say I think it's one of my Cocoa Vanilla Studio favs.
Which is your favourite element above?

If you would like to see how this layout has come together I have created a process video. This shows  you the ins and outs, the ups and downs of how this layout came together.

I promise you also.. although it appears to have lots of elements its was super quick and easy to come together.

So lets do some shopping

Here are some close up of the layout.

I hope my layout has inspired you to get creative.
Have a fabulous December.

How Much Ink/Mist Do You Waste?

Good Morning Arty Peeps.

Hope all is well in your part of the world. It's winter here, chilly, expecting snow this year, therefore perfect for this month's Mood Board.
The inspiration is all about rugging up and keeping warm, see the bottom of this post for the graphic.

Here's my page with lots of subtle colour.

I got this look on my background (heavy weight) cardstock by using it to clean up my messy mat, I really hate to waste any excess of mists or other mediums. There wasn't an awful lot of residue on it this time so when I misted with water and dragged my card through it I got this beautiful subtle mix of colours. Just perfect for my Mood Board layout. The border around my page was done by applying black ink through a stencil using a foam applicator.

I dug out the sunset pic because it matched so well.

My title is made up of a cute paper clip and a Cocoa Vanilla wood veneer swiped with a brown inkpad. Some Cocoa Vanilla vellum elements were perfect too, the doily under my title, a few flowers, and butterflies.

I added buttons and chippy elements to ground my crochet, and typed right onto a label sticker from WeRMK, mounted on black card I reckon it looks so cool. Must say, I love my typewriter!

So here is the mood board for June, upload your project in the Facebook folder here. We love seeing your creations!

Thanks for coming by today.
Til next time

Project Life pages with Tania

Hi lovelies!! Today I'm sharing some pocket pages or Project Life pages with you. I'm having so much fun with the Teresa Collins, Something Wonderful collection. It is absoluteley perfect for this style of scrapbooking!!!

I am really enjoying Project Life, it's something I've wanted to do for awhile, but haven't found a flow with it. But with these cool accessories in the Something Wonderful Range, and the gorgeous papers with cut out cards, it comes together quite simply. I can't tell you the satisfaction I get from adding this many pics to my album in one sitting!! And I don't stress about chronological scrapping, I have been catching up on all of our holiday photos!

And the extra space and journal cards for documenting your stories, priceless! Loving the cool pack of tags that match too!!!

The washi tapes, stickers, buttons and ephemera, plus more accessories (listed below), certainly made my scrapbook pages come together with ease!!!
I hope I've inspired you to get some PL spreads accomplished! Don't forget to check out this fabulous range in store. These are the products I used:

Thanks for looking, see you next time!!!

Fun times, Something Wonderful page by Tania!

Hi all!!! I'm back here with you today to share a quick and fun page, using the Teresa Collins, Something Wonderful Collection. It's amazing how different all these Design Team projects are, even though, this month, we are all using the same collection! Anyway, I love it, love all the little embellishments, chipboard stickers, washi, OMG..the washi!!! (Pssst...it's on special, as are a few of the other items in this range!!!)
Now, I have to mention, I'm also interpreting this month's sketch with my layout! Here's the sketch here:

I die cut 2 beautiful circles from the 'ALPHA' patterned paper, and then almost covered them with the rest of my layering!!! But, it's all about the layers right???
* You can see all the other patterned papers in the store here.

I layered some more patterned paper behind the photos, and matted my photos with cardstock, white, which is nearly always a given for me! There's another layer at the bottom of the photos, using a couple of the washi tapes. ( This helps anchor the photos and gives your eyes somewhere to rest, so they don't veer off the bottom of the page.) I did the same for the top embellishment cluster, layers and washi!! (Love the little banners from the ephemera set! And.. the gorgeous chipboard buttons!)

With all the gorgeous embellishments in this range, it was so easy to make my little clusters and the page came together fairly effortlessly!! Gotta love that!

What about that gorgeous, viewfinder reel embellishment!!!
I didn't really add much more to my page, that wasn't in the kit. Only a few little enamel dots, some AC Thickers, staples and thread!! (My title also includes some cute alphas from the word sticker pack.)
I hope I've inspired you to play along with this month's sketch, or the moodboard, don't forget you have to be in it to win it, and wouldn't you love a store voucher to spend at Scrappinglcearly???
And, don't forget to check out this gorgeous Teresa Collins range..I have linked all the products used back to the store!!!
See you next time!!
