“Art journal with a difference!”- by Amy Churchward

Hey there, everyone!

I'm excited to share something unique with you today—an art journal that pushed me outside my comfort zone. This month's colour palette was a bit of a puzzle for me, so I decided to embrace the challenge and experiment with a new approach: journal art!

Let me introduce you to my latest creation inspired by the Metallic Marvels Colour Palette.

Curious about the products I used? Here's the line up:

• Art By Marlene - Art Journal - Handy Size.
• Dylusions Shimmer Spray - Crushed Grape, Bubblegum Pink - used for the background (as well as Bling Shimmer Spray from ColourBlast) - but can use any gold from your stash as you wish.
• Art By Marlene Acrylic Paint Sets - Favourites and Neon - Punk, Ballet, and Mermaid
• Dina Wakley acrylic paints - Night and White-Splatters.
• Dina Wakley FudeBall pen - for the hand doodle border with a white paint pen.
• I have used an Art By Marlene Essentials Tab Tag plus there are lots of other fun tags that you can chose from, in the Store.
• The image of the owl is from my stash which I have coloured using Mont Marte Dual Tip Marker from my stash. You could substitute this with Mont Marte Multimarker Set
• The words are from the Art By Marlene sticker set from my stash. There are several similar wording sets that you can select to your liking from the store.
• From my stash I have also used silver and gold glitter paper for the hand punched circles and the crown. Also embellished with sequin stars and rhinestones.
