Move over May - it is time to create!

What a fantastic month this has been.... the moodboard is just the place you want to create from.  I have taken the blues and grey/silver out of the moodboard while creating for my quote rolodex cards this week.

You only have a few more sleeps to get creating and upload your creations to the Scrapping Clearly Share and Inspire Facebook group... there is so much yumminess rolling in there and no doubt it will  be a hard one to pick this month.

This is your little bit of inspiration -

This week I have decided to create with the Heidi Swapp Memorydex cards - it is time to add more quotes to my stash & the Memorydex spinner.

I like to prep a lot of cards at one time - as you can see in the above pic. I have used Dina Wakley Media paints in Medieval, Marine and Night. I have also used the following stencils - TCW Mini Peacock Doily, TCW skylight & AALLS create on a gelli plate.

This is the start of Card #1

To this I have added my own precut word 'today" and ran a couple of stitch lines through it to keep it connected to the card/

next I have chosen the word grateful from the delightful little words from Kinder Kreations I have used Prima Metallique paint to colour the chipboard.

& time to get arty and create with a typed quote to add to the layout.

After typing the quote on tissue paper  I have wet the edge with the paintbrush to help tear it closer to typed words. I have also used Liquitex Gel medium to adhere the tissue and to coat and protect it.
I have added some Liquitex modelling paste through the TCW Rebekaha Moier stencil .

Card #2

card 2 has a few funky little things going on. I have stamped a Tim Holtz stampers anon stamp onto tissue and then using Liquitex Gel Matte I have stuck it to the page and then sealed it by lightly painting over

the Kinder Kreations chipboard minis are a great way to add  what you need to the smaller projects.
I have used a little of the Heidi Swapp color shine in Ocean & Tinsel on the words of this piece.

Card #3 - This was a super easy card once I had gone through my thousands of quotes.

I have added extra depth to the piece by using texture paste & stamping. Inkadinkadoo stamps  are used sporadically and are great for backgrounds... they stamp out beautifully

Here are the 3 cards in their entirety

until next time - have a fabulous weekend
